1995 Defender for sale

1995 defender for sale with no rust and excellent body with only 47K on it . It does not look like it's ever been off road. I bought it for my wife but could not get the parts needed to finish it by Christmas so I bought another one. It had an engine fire and needs main the harness. Anything in the engine compt. that was rubber or plastic needs to be replaced. I already bought some of the new dash pieces from George at rovers down south. My asking price is $12K. This is a very solid car. If anybody has the main harness for sale, I would consider keeping the truck. The truck comes with a clean title. If interested please email me at colshlby65@aol.com or call me at 702-768-9972 for pictures.

Maybe I'm hallucinating (my photographic memory does this to me sometimes), but didn't you have this for sale elsewhere then pull it back off the market?

Also, did you ever post pictures of the damage?

I'm not interested, but am interested in what the damage looks like.

Yes that was it. I could have sworn he put a comment in there that it was off the market at one point.

What's the VIN?

Horsey Boy what are you doing? Are you building a database of all available trucks?
Do you have a check list for your perfect truck?

Has the truck ever been kicked by a horse?
Is there any hay still in the truck?
Does the rear tire carrier sag from a horse sitting on it?
Has the truck sat under a juniper tree with sea biscuit?
If I drive in the defender without a saddle will I get chaffed?

Not a bad deal really since i want to swap a TDi into it - but with no top and needing a hood as well as all the other parts that will add up fast - I'd say it's not going to be a cheap way to get a runner.

If it's the truck from TX, I looked at it before the shop bought it and have some pics I can share. Lot's of good pieces, but a fair amount that would need to be replaced. There was NO rust at all. It was a bunch of pieces, but the owner "had it all back at the ranch". Looked like a decent platform to start with.

Isaac,

Can you post the pics? Seriously since I am going to gut it anyway I could care less about wires and switches..... I guess a new top would be money well spent no matter what I got anyway. Thanks for any pics.

It is the same truck that was in Texas. It is rust free and the body is in excellent shape. I would not sell it if I can find the main harness. Do you have the contact info for the previous owner in Texas?

I do have the contact info for the original owner (but unfortunately not with me). Please PM me, and I'll get back to you when I get back to TX this weekend.

Still Available on Ebay

It's for sale a second time on ebay with a price of $10K (reserve met). Winning bid for the original auction was $10,100. It's missing the rear cage. Doesn't even have the fastback arms. Same guy is selling the other truck he bought as well which is a 94 Yellow with a buy it now of 21,500. The autocheck shows an odometer issue but if you look at the report it really just looks like an error in the data.

I have personally seen both vehicles. The burned up 90 would make an excelent 110 project and the yellow vehicle is a VERY rust free example. just some surface rust here and there and not much AT ALL ! ! !

No, no- another Tdi I have secured w/ 25k on it, and a complete 90 drivetrain setup. Interested?? Could be a custom build for Gustavo, and yes, I would give a little towards the 110 on trade :-) probably more, but knowing the prior owner and all....
