Pics added. Might want to let people know where it's located, and maybe some undercarriage shots?

Hmmm, wasn't this on eBay recently? With a $2,500 Buy-It-Now?

Just a suggestion, but maybe you should've provided that information in the original listing.

Anyway, you might want to provide some additional information. i.e. miles, what parts are still "good", maybe how the fire started, a little background. Anything included that is not pictured.

With a clean title, this thing would've sold in a second, for a lot more. Without the title, it is only worth the parts, and it would be good to know which parts are toasted.

You are right.

Although I think Greg was trying to help. ...............otherwise the lsiting will go to USELESS POS , burnt with a COD, other than parking it in your yard and telling people you own a Defender, there is nothing of value to warrant 3,000 , 2,500 or even 1,500

My opinion not that anyone cares

Wayne,

I am not engaging on a PISSING MATCH, all I stated is the FACTS, without YOU telling us , what is good, for all I see on those pics I have NOT A CLUE as to the condition of any of those items.

The Frame could be rusted out, the diffs could be seized, the T-case as well.

Now, if you were not to be so Defensive, and take more pics from under-carriage, cross member, described the conditions of those items BEYOND " MANY GOOD PARTS LEFT " perhaps will warrant the price, other than that , I think my statement is RIGHT ON

Good luck with your sale

Fire equals heat. That thing got Torched almost as bad as this thread. I dont think that fire tempered that cage, frame, tcase or anything else, likely melted/weakened all of it. Diffs and axles might be good, but probably not worth the effort to drag the rest of it to the dumpster. This guy should've listened to Fidel....I think we can all guess what caused this.

Only good parts I see are the piece of paper and the metal tab with all the numbers stamped on it and that could be shipped in an envelope

It has a "Certificate Of Destruction" Title . . . therefore there is no value to the VIN or Title, at least that is my understading.

In some areas you can use it to rebuild or a get a salvage title I think.

With the date 11-26-08 on the fender I wonder how long it's been sitting. Did it burn up on that date or is that the date it arrived where ever it is?
