1995 Defender 90 SW

Hello all.

You may have seen my wanted post for the WTT 90 for 110. Well there is a 110 that is currently up for sale that I would like to chase. After a few trips to the beach with my wife and son the 90 just couldn't keep up with our surfboards, stroller, car seat, and beach chair load.

Asking $25,500 -- The forum has been a HUGE help with all of the work that has gone into this, so I want to offer it here first. If there's no interest here I will post it up to eBay. AND if there is anyone with a well sorted 110 let me know. I still am interested in a trade.

This Coniston Green beast has recently benefited from:

* New R380 gearbox that shifts like a dream (and filled with Redline MTL fluids)
* New clutch
* Flywheel resurface
* Trailhead 4x4 stainless oil-cooler lines
* New slave cylinder
* New serpentine and drive belt
* New thermostat
* New Diehard battery
* New rear turn signal harness and light
* Fresh oil change
* New 02 oxygen sensors (have ordered them and will install as soon as they arrive)

Starts every time and drives great.

Needs attention:

* Drivers side low-beam headlight is out. I think it is a fuse issue.
* Needs new throttle cable mount bracket
* The spring back in the ignition key isn't working. Not a big deal, just have to rotate the key a bit back after starting.
* Had trouble on it's last smog test ... I'm thinking the new o2's will sort this out.
* Rear door has a decent amount of rust BUT there is little to no rust on the front doors.

CLEAN TITLE
Badge # 209/500
VIN # SALDV3289SA977652
166k miles, but on the carfax it shows a few rollbacks

Used the Defender as a prop on a photo shoot I did yesterday on an old coconut farm.

Man, if that was white and an ST, I would trade you my 110 for it... I have the most unbelievable itch to find my old 94 ST back, but after seeing a friends ST yesterday, I'm even more determined to find one soon!

Good luck!

How about we rattle-can it white and give it a chop top?

I have a white ST - what are the specs on your 110?

Sry Surf90 for the derail - the truck looks great in the photo shoot pic!

Nice truck. It might help if you mentioned what you are looking for in a 110. For example- RHD/LHD, diesel/petrol, cab configuration...

Alright, one more thought. I would consider trading both my 90 and my grandpas Mercedes (see info here: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...eferrerid=8779 ) for a very well sorted diesel 110. A 2 for 1 deal.

Did you have to do the new EVAP test? I didnt want to take a chance and pleaded with the guy not to do it. They could seen the canister and said they should do it but let it slide since its such a new test. Just curious about your experience and hoping I can get out of it again next time.

I don't know if they did it or not. I hadn't heard about that test. There is an evap column on my report that says "N/A" so I would guess they didn't do it, but I didn't ask them not to, so I don't know.
