Nothing has materialized in way of a sale or trade so I think I'm going to keep it. At this point I have it running so nice and smooth that I don't know if I want to dive into another unknown truck.

Took my wife & son for a cruise today.

All you need is a soft top bench for the kid's seat! If money is tight, get one out of a jeep.

Best decision ever to keep it.

Stone, I personally think you're making the right decision. I've survived two growing boys in the back of a 90SW for 10-12 years. We do run into problems when snowboards and Lax D-poles come into play but other than that you get used to it.

I will advocate keeping it if you like it. I've been driving my 110 more and completely agree with your comment about it being the way you want.

Stone, if you can't find a suitable 110, get a bench seat and definitely keep it! My two older boys grew up with the 90... They were 2 and 7 when I got my 90 and we've gone all over with it. We even got caught in a torrential downpour with no top in a 3 hour drive to Atlantic City once and they had a blast!

While I love my 110, there's always that itch to find my old ST back... Even if it means selling the 110. Something about your first Defender that you can't put a finger on!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the words. Every time I work on it it seems to become more and more a part of me. Sounds lame, but oh well. At this point I have some fun upgrades planned for the near future and plan on saving my pennies for a couple lock-and-folds in the rear. I need to take a look around and see how folks have fully unitized the safari rack (ie. surfboards and such) and maybe get a hitch mounted carrier for longer treks. The second row of seats would be nice in a 110, but at this point I will make it work. I may change my mind again, but maybe at that point I can just afford to have both.

When I have children I'm going to drill some bolts into the floor and put in a child's seat. Can't be that hard right?

Jump seats aren't going anywhere.

Took my family down to the beach then to lunch and brought me right back to the "I need a 110 thoughts."

SO if anyone wants to make me an offer just hit me with it. Worse I will say is no.

*brand new brake master cylinder just installed in addition to everything else and the brand new R380 gearbox. Check out more photos and a few videos here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/e8vzn4f6ymfn30c/HKaAJmfRNZ

$23,500 ... thoughts?

Also, because I am a lover of cars and a huge fan of the barter system, I would consider these trades:

ROW 110 (obviously)
LR3
LR4
Toyota Tacoma
4-Door Rubicon (go ahead cast your stones)
Audi Wagon
BMW Wagon
Audi RS4
1960 - 1980's Porsche 911 (My grandpa left a 1981 911sc to my dad and it is pure fun to drive)
Restored early Bronco (my neighbor has one and it's beautiful)
Restored 60's era wagons (One of my favorite cars I've ever owned is a mint 1962 Ford Falcon Wagon)
Restored 50's ish Chevy c100 (the truck I grew up with and got me into cars)

etc, etc ...

Humm, I've got an 73 Bronco I'd certainly be willing to trade towards it. Your truck is obviously worth more but if any interest PM me and ill send pics and see if we're anywhere close to deal.

Landan that is quite a sight! What I would do to have that trifecta in my driveway. Well done. -- I'll send you a PM

Thanks Tony! I should have thrown that to you. My folks were in town last week and I wasn't thinking as much about it. Sounds like you found something in my hometown of Boulder though. Well done!
