I just had the car in this week for the 82,500 mile service and there are no known mechanical problems.
(Except - the previous owner put new front brake pads on worn out front rotors... those rotors will need to be replaced when pads are changed again)

The attached photos are from a recent trip on the Mojave road...

The car is in good shape but is no show car.

It has the usual wear and tear of an 11 year old truck that is used off-road...
it is not rusty... but there are just a few bolts here and there with some surface rust and some
"pin striping" on the body and soft-top windows from the trail.

I'll post some slicker sales photos later.

*Regarding the refrigerator shown mounted in one of the photos...
This is not included in the sale... it is available for extra $$$...
it's a 35 liter FridgeFreeze (fridgefreeze.com) and I had a custom locking frame fabricated for it that bolts to the floor using bolts & rivet-nuts... it's wired to the auxillary battery.

Holy crap am I crazy or is the car priced about $10k too low? That looks like a heck of a deal for someone.

I agree! I say it is a heck of a deal as well..........I own a similar truck. Same year, same color, similar mileage. This one actually seems to have nicer options and perhaps be in better condition than mine.

If that one is only worth 23K......Mine is worth less then I thought! I would have thought mine was worth 24-26K..........and this one would be in the UPPER 20s, lower 30s?

Guess I had an inflated idea of what these trucks go for?

all it takes is a realistic view of the world by a few sellers and the price starts falling like crazy!

I got a great deal on mine but the seller was in kind of a bind... I see it more and more though vehicles in the low 20's, unless of course it's a 97 sw, then the prices are still up near the 30's

now on ebay

For those of you who missed out no this the first time, this same truck is now on ebay.

Such a waste, I would have bought it originally and actually driven it, instead of jacking up the price for resale.

I wouldn't call him a D--- - pretty smart to think of it. The guy selling is the one who made the mistake. Car is easily worth what his buy-it-now is. I would bought it at 23k and sold mine for sure.

THis guy does this all the time on here. I have called him out on it before. He posts fake stories like he lost his job or just had twins and really he is just another car dealer trying to scam all of us.

His name is Jonathon and he is in Alabama. Search my old posts and you can see where I called him out. He really ought to get kicked off this site for being a fraud.

It will be interesting to see what it sells for........I think it is a shame that someone on this site did not get a chance to buy it - Who would actually drive and love it!

the guy has the user name Jonathon and he is a fraud because he posts vehicles for sale on here all the time and says he must sell because of job loss, new twins, etc. all of which are not true. He pretends to be a defender lover who actually is no more than a copley in disguise who is looking to make a quick buck off of all of us. He is a commercial reseller and constantly buys and sells defenders.

who gives a shit? last time I checked this was america and that's legal. buy low, sell high. sounds like a pretty solid business plan to me. it goes back to the whole "if you don't like it don't buy it" thing. jesus christ, let it go. what's the big f-ing deal?

and by the way, not only am i not affiliated in any way with this jonathan guy, he actually screwed me on a 1993 D-110 deal. whatever. I'm over it. just like i'm over this thread.

Yeah..........this is america..........and it is legal.........

BUT if he is a known fraud, we should at least know about him, and spread the word, on this page of D-90 owners or friends.

I would like people to at least know who they are buying from..........Thomas - if you had a bad experience with him, I think it is good that you shared that.........
