1995 Defender 90

I've decided to sell my 90... It was the perfect vehicle for me while I was working at the Land Rover Greenville dealership, but at this point, I'm not enjoying it anymore.

I'll get more pictures and more information listed this evening when I have time to sit down at my computer, but other than oil cooler lines, heavy duty axles, full roof rack, steelie wheels, oversized tires, and a 2" lift, and a few other odds/ends it's basically stock.

VIN# SALDV2282SA966521 *It doesn't have a perfect report.

Currently has 154,xxx miles

It has been confirmed that it needs a new a-frame ball joint which I may fix next weekend unless it's sold before then. Other than the clonk, it drives perfect.

It also needs a new heater core, which I planned on fixing during the summer.

Both cheap/somewhat easy fixes if you can turn a wrench.

I have installed a fiberglass hardtop which is in really good condition.

I installed SW doors and never completed the door cards... the original doors will go with it as well.

I also have the original wheels that will go with it.

Here's a link to my registry http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=42828

I'm asking $20,000 but will negotiate. I still owe a little bit of money to BB&T for the 90, so we can handle the transaction there or whatever you feel comfortable with. I have plenty of references within the Land Rover family of dealerships here in South & North Carolina.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or interests.

Thanks!

I don't see the SW doors in the registry, but if you end up removing them and re-installing the ST doors, I know someone who would likely buy your SW doors. Good luck with the sale - let's see some more recent photos. Also if you wouldn't mind expanding on the "*it doesn't have a perfect report" it may save some people some time/money from running their own reports to see what the blemish is. Truck looks good though.

The original owner bought the truck for his kid... In a drunken stuper, he was screwing around in a parking lot and rolled it over on it's side. Police called it a "roll-over"... I haven't looked at the report since I bought it, but I'm pretty sure that was the only mark. It caused some rash on the rear passenger side quarter. I have replacement panels that will go with it. Just haven't had time to install them.

I've always loved looking at these pics. Great truck and great deal. If I had the cash handy I'd buy this today.

I need to add that other than two small areas on the rear crossmember, there's no rust at all. I'll get pictures later.

I'm not counting the SW doors... they did have rust at the bottom which was treated and painted, but they are non-original, and just a fun project to help with drive-thrus. The original doors have zero rust. Buyer gets both sets, because I'd rather not deal with shipping doors.

The truck is in really good condition other than the rash at the rear quarter. I have the panels to fix it, I'm just not doing it! Those panels will go with the truck. I'll even get pictures of those if needed... (2) rear quarter panels (1) rear passenger side panel (2) rear corner panels

I forgot to mention it has new LED's in the rear and a set of Nathanwind's milled aluminum wingtop vents.

I feel that it is priced accordingly. My contact at the dealership suggested starting at $23,000, but due to the little bit of work it needs (that I mentioned), I feel that $20,000 is a great price.

Sorry for the delays guys. I've had a ton of people emailing. I'm at work until noon and I'll get this sorted out as soon as I get home. It was dark before I got home yesterday to get photos. The truck needs a bath, so it won't be spotless when I take the up close and personal photos.

Are you actually going to post pics of the "rash"? Is the "custom" cage/rack easily removable?

Yes, I'll take a ton of pictures when I get home today and upload them. I probably should have got pictures before advertising and planned to this morning, but I was unexpectedly asked to work today. I bought panels to replace the damage, but most have told me to just leave it alone, since it adds a little character. Whatever the case, the new panels will accompany the sale.

I'll dig around on Facebook and see if I have any pictures showing the rash. The cage/rack does come off fairly easily. Of course it takes two or more people to lift it off.

I forgot to mention that I also have the original rear bumper, lock box, and not sure if I mentioned the bench seat as well.

Edit: Adding two pics... best I can do until I get home and pull it out of the garage...

Thanks RBlood... I totally forgot about that thread... That's the rash. I also cleaned up that rear bumper before I replaced the rack. Again, I have all of the panels to replace the rash. Someone just has to have a drill , a rivet gun and some patience...

It's not a $50,000 Defender 90...

I'm guessing someone beat us to it. I saw in his previous posts he's been saying he would sell it for $18,500 recently.
