1995 d90 sw pastel green

up for sale is my 3 year project.i will start with the origanl vehicle-it was arles blue, number 383/500, 144k miles, absolutely no mods. 1st (original) owner was a girl in new jersey that put a majority of the miles on the highway driving from NJ to CT and she owned it till end of 2002. the second owner was a dr. from TN, he owned it for maybe 2-3 monthes before i purchased it, he maybe put almost 1k miles on it and that includes the drive from NJ to TN. so i get the thing, drive it less than 100 miles and then beign to take it apart. it started with the rear tire carrier-the rust on it bothered me so i took it of thinking - i will fix it and put it back on. nope!! it was all down hill from there-i take the entire truck apart. so here is the majority of what has been done-clean the axels off and por 15 them, new seals and bearings in them, strip and paint the brake calipers and new seals and pistons in them, new stainless brake lines and stainless braided flex brake lines, stainless fuel lines, stainless clutch lines, all new genuine bushings, strip and powder coat the rims, new ome springs, new bilstien shocks, new ome steering stabilizer, rovertracks panhard rod and track rod, new galvanized tubular shock mounts, stainless fuel skid, new 255 bfg tires, galvanized chassis, brand new bulkhead, brand new genuine 4.6 short block, mallory distributor, magnacore 8.5 wires, msd coil,new- water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump, alternator, ngk plugs, ever hose, belts, piper cam, timing chain, stainless braided oil lines and power steering lines, ceramic coated manifolds, powder coated valve covers and intake. many galvanized parts-the roll cage, rear bumper, slam panel (its the panel that chatches the bonnet when its closed) the bonnet frame, rear door hinges, and alot of brackets.new genuine rear door, new style front door hinges, new mirrors, new wipers and arms.complete color change ( you could not find an ounce of blue on it no matter what you took apart) countless stainless bolts with mylar washers behind them. anyways i am tired of typing plus there is probaly another list twice as long of other stuff done to this thing. i am asking an arm and a leg for this (upper $60k) if this sound like something you would be interested in and in your range (open to offers and i would be interested a trade of a well kept 95 classic range rover) give me a call or shoot me an email i can send detailed pics and give more details. thanks- matt hurstmatt@msn.com (402) 517 6005

I'm guessing someone would have to trade you at least 7 or 8 well-kept 95 Rangies! Its the kind of truck that Copely could get the right price for.

Everything is sweet except the carpet. Its doesnt fit in with the series look, rubber mats would be preferable in my opionion.

Matt, thats a beeee-youtiful 90!! I think we're all trying to get and keep our rovers nice, but yours takes the cake, now forget this sale and put some miles on it!!

I like the tan/brown interior and I really think the traditional exterior color and galvanized bits are the ultimate "classic" rover look.

put this on ebay as "Nicest Defender in the states", it'll sell!

Very nice Defender! How did you get the carpet to form around the tranny tunnel/housing?
