Mike,

i used spray adhesive and glued it to the original carpet of the tranny tunnel- it turned out way nicer than i thought it was going to(when i started i thought i was going to end up wasting the orginal
carpet and my new carpet and end up throwing all of it away, but turned out great

Matt:
Great looking truck...

Very interesting air filter / air intake system configuration, too. What number/type of air filter are you running?

Thx.

Matt, tell me about the coloration of the plastics and fiberglass trim panels. what did you use? did you outsource, or do it yourself? I've been interested in a tan interior (like my disco I) and will do that eventually. I was also thinking down the same road of the exmoor trim set you picked, so it was good to see it up close in a pick. looks a little different than the samples page on the exmoor site,

A superb, ultra clean truck to be proud of. I've just purchased my own D90 and I'll remind myself every time I do an upgrade of that green goddess and what I need to aim for as far as perfection goes. Good luck with the sale.

Wow. Thats all I can say.... I look at my 90 and think Wow.......Very nice. I know that you have alot of upgrades and add ons, but I think the general viewing audience would pay something for a pamphlet on what you did exactly to your 90. A very nice rig..

Hey...I saw that one when it was on Ebay! I love it, the color looks great and the combo with the interior, and galvanized exterior parts is fantastic! Do you still have it?

I know this post is a bit old but what was the roll bar painted with? Also what type of stainless screws are holding the rollbar on?

Thanks

I just keep coming back and looking at this truck from time to time. Its just so clean, perfect, and well-conceived. I'm definitely copying some ideas on my next build. I love the galvanized hood frame.

Thanks Jim!!! Removing the hood frame was pretty simple. I did have the front and rear door frames galvanized also just never put back together yet- I ended up buying anew rear door and some front half doors as a quick fix.

When you re-riveted the hood frame back in, did you paint over the rivets, or are they bare? Obviously the hood was painted at least once with the frame out.

If you decide never to put those various doors back together let me know, I might be interested in buying the bits from you.

Have you just gotten bored of this project or just figured it was too nice to drive?
