1995 d90 st #3002

This past week I have been starting to put Frosty back to stock and should have her ready for sale in a few weeks.

It's been a really great run but I have been looking for something different and want to try out a 110 so need to sell her to clear up some funds. Most of the parts like the Toyota rear axle, RockWare bumper, 35" MTR/K's & RovingTracks components will go to the 110 so will not be included.

I am going to bring the truck back to as close to stock with the original parts I kept and in the process clean and tidy some things up. There will be items like VDO gauges, Tuffy center console and Exmoor forward facing rear seats that will be kept installed.

Here is a link to pictures that I took a couple of weeks ago: http://d90.unionstreetbikes.com/medi...el=album&id=15

Putting it up now just in case someone is in the market now for a NAS ST. I see time to time that people post "if only that Defender was available a month ago" and there are a couple rigs that I have thought the same.

I will update the thread as I get items completed and cleaned up.

Current Mileage: 123,xxx
Asking Price: $27,500

Please PM for any questions - thanks!

-Don

Don I know someone who might be interested. I'll shoot them a message. Pissed I only ever got to see this truck once though!

Thanks Josh - I have some work to do before she is ready but thanks for reaching out to them.

Weird it was only once. And even then it was only for 15-20 minutes.

I am hoping within the next couple of weeks. I think once I am done with the rear axle I should make good time. Just a lot of little stuff after that.

I haven't heard anything from Josh's friend but did get a PM this afternoon from an interested party.

Whenever you are in the area, feel free to swing by and take a look.

No dibs from me or friend just thought he'd be interested...looks like he was in the process of buying a different white D90 that day though. Sorry for not getting back to you Don. I started writing you an e-mail and never sent it.

Absolutely no problem - I figured if it was a go I would be hearing from you. I still have some work on it so not pushy yet, haha.

I'm the friend who ended up buying a truck that same day. If i hadn't, I absolutely would be interested in yours. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the bump ///Maximus and congrats on your purchase.

I am hoping to have the rear axle back in and totally done by the end of the week. After inspecting the A arm ball joint and seeing the rip in the rubber - I just ordered a new one from AB.

I also cleaned, wire brushed, primer and painted the iffy spots on the original rear axle housing. It also has brand new disk calipers and Land Rover Genuine brake pads. I will take some more pics as I get more into it.

Some pics of the left side and when I had to pull the 90 out to swap the direction in the garage. Also should be able to see the new ball joint piece in the A-arm.

So rear is back to stock save for the sway bar (need to order some new bushings and clean/paint. I've tried to clean things best I could and even painted things like cruddy parts of the axle housing. Wheels I cleaned and waxed both sides.

Going to start the front end tomorrow. It won't look as clean as the rear due to the fact that I didn't POR-15 the front 2/3 of the frame but will take pics to show what things look like while I'm under there.

Props for a great truck and a straight up guy. Don is totally OCD about his work (and that's a good thing!)

Best of luck with the sale bud! You gotta come by and check out my new ride sometime!

Got some more done on the front end:

* 3.54 gears in
* Cleaned axle and frame
* Sleeved the stock tie rod and TIG'd it to stay put - prepped, primed, and painted. New TREs will go on once things are dried.
* Drivers side shock tower prepped, primed and painted as it wasn't looking great and had some surface rust.
* Drivers side spring, cleaned and waxed
* replaced old shock tower rings with new Disco rubber ones and used stainless nuts and lock washers.
* OME shock was cleaned, waxed and new bushings were put in a few months ago - they still look good.

Just need to refinish the passengers side shock tower and will put that together. And of course the anti-roll bar.

Hoping to have the front end wrapped up Monday so I can bring to the local garage for an alignment mid week next week. Will have them press in new pan hard bushes I have on the shelf.

New seat bottoms coming next week from Safari HP so the stocker seats bottom half will be brand new including sliders mechanism.

Eyebrows on order from Trevor at Rovahfarm.

What'cha doing with your old seat bottoms and eyebrows? Trail rig worthy (asking for selfish reasons)?
