Cool 1995 beluga black RRC

I present to you the cleanest range rover classic in the tri state area!

I purchased this truck unseen from Utah about 2 years ago, prior to that the truck spent it's life in the great state of California.

This rover is completely rust free. This being my second range rover I was well aware of how good they are at corroding, so I took many measures to prevent this. First I pulled the rear carpet and seam sealed everything with self leveling seem sealer, afterwords I applied rust resistant paint (por15) to the entire floor. I wasn't going to have another truck rot away on me. Further still I applied underbody coating or "waxoyl" to the whole under side of this beautiful piece of English engineering. Further more I spray all the vulnerable points with wd-40 bi-weekly.

When I purchased this truck it had a slight lift already installed by the means of old man emu medium duty springs and bilistein shocks. These are not cheap terra firma Chinese products, the shocks are German and the springs are Australian. To compliment the lift I installed over sized Bridgestone all terrain tires, and an American made Gavin roof rack. Needless the say the truck is a stunner. Too many times have I seen jeep owners twist their heads off their shoulders while driving by.

The truck was pampered in my ownership...new front drive shaft, new transmission cooler lines, new transmission filter and high end fluid, new power steering lines, an old man emu steering stabilizer, and finally OEM pads and rotors along with new wheel bearings front and back. Also I've serviced all the diffs (front center and rear) and aftermarket off road lights where installed and are activated by the factory fog light switch.

It kills me to sell it however the head gasket has let go and I'm throwing in the towel. This truck is super comfortable and unique as hell. Dupont registry has said the value of these trucks in the coming years should sky rocket. There is evidence of this as the asking prices of these are creeping up slowly month by month. Look at defenders if you don't know what I'm talking about.

All said and done. This truck needs headgaskets and a winshield.

Thanks for looking

I'm open to all offers or trades

Kind regards

Alex Kidd

Asking 7000$

I can't post pictures or links because I hAvent posted enough pm me for pivs.

No rust what so ever and clean gauge bezel and center dash piece

So the air suspension is not present or just bypassed?

Air suspension has been replaced with coils. However it does have defender shock mounts in the front so the shock is inside of the spring

That's one of my dream combos: 95 RRC SWB in Beluga Black. Perfect. Go post in the test forums then get pictures up!

This is my old Classic and sold it to Alex. Good car but I had recently moved and had to thin the fleet.

From what I remember from my ownership, Unless Alex changed them.
- Gbr did the cool conversion. We removed the bags but the rest should still be there unless removed after I sold it.

- Trailhead 4x4 oil cooler lines.

- New nitro bubble for brake system.

I am sure I did other stuff but have owned enough Rovers all the work is starting to run together.

Good luck with the sale. This was my dream Classic setup. Light stone leather too. I bought it from the original owner and drove it home from Portland.

Actually it is the one listed in my signature line, I thought that much of it. And I owned TWO lower mileage 1995 LWB's prior to this one...

Recalled a bit more...
Medium OME springs and Bilstiens done what I think of as "properly" as in shock in coil.
nitrogen accumulator (brakes)
valve cover gaskets
Euro turn signals
Newly powder coated rear taillight guards
No rust

Owner is a good guy. I remember a month or so after he got it, getting a phone call exclaiming how rust free it was as he performed his rust proofing. I went through a good amount of effort to get the seller I bought it from to sell to me, a guy from another state off a CL ad. For its rust free properties.

Again GLWS, if I could I think I might buy it back.

Personally, I'm too much of an lwb guy. But I can't deny that a beluga swb with a lift is money! And if it looks anything like this ( I keep this pic on my phone for constant reference) you'd be a fool to not snatch it up!

Alex, tell me more about the need for the head gaskets? Leaking, overheating?

I was driving to work, short drive about 6 miles, and the engine starts making this crazy noise. I get to work I open the hood and start to investigate. At first I thought it was am exhaust manifold, being a rover enthusiast I had a spare laying around. After the manifold swap it sounded identical. After more diagnostics I discover part of the head gasket blew out from between the head and block and compression is now escaping from between the two. The truck never over heated.

After some research I've decided it might need an engine. Seems the block or a liner has failed
