1994 Yellow NAS D90 - Canadian Truck FS

New baby forces sale of my beloved D90.

Completely honest description:

About a 7/10 IMHO
Currently located 20m east of Toronto, Ontario
1994 NAS D90 Softtop reg# CDN-80 (has the under-passenger seat heater)
120k km’s (74k miles)
optional hardtop – repainted black to match rest of truck (yellow / black)

New parts / recent work: (Have all receipts)
New tubular racing winch bumper with SS swivel recovery eyes
New Warn 9.5 ti winch
New HD rock sliders with tree sliders
New HD galv steering guard
New blower motor and heater core
5 new-ish tires
4 x Goodyear MTR’s in 285/75/16 size with 4k Km’s
1 x Goodyear MTR’s in 285/75/16 size with 0 Km’s
Custom rear tire cover for 33” OD spare (Land Rover One Life Live it w/ Logo)
4x Hella 3000’s mounted to windscreen rollcage with internal wiring
New galvanized fuel tank cradle
New third brake light bar and light assembly
New axle bearings in front
New alpine bar
New rear jumpseat seat belts
New brake light cages (Left and right)

Good parts:

Runs great, start easily
No wobbles or shimmys at highway speeds. Perfectly balanced
Honest truck – would have no issue driving it offroad at any time (and I have)
Truck has been undercoated and is regularly oil mist sprayed (twice yearly)

Rough bits:

Previous owner had repaired some rust in the footwells. Has been bondoed a little bit and repainted and resealed. No new rust, and not noticeable with the floor mats down.
Single rust spot on the rear tub capping about the size of a quarter.
Some surface rust on the windscreen bar and body mounts (easily fixable – can be done for a modest fee before sale)
Could use a new center cubby box –recommend a Tuffy…
Small rip in passenger seat base – could be recovered with an Exmoor retrim kit (cheap) or replace entirely (little bit more)
Small tear in rear rubberized flooring
Some surface rust on the rear tire carrier. Could use a repaint.
About 3 small honest dings in body work – either parking lot dings, or in the case of one in the front wing, a tree. None larger than a dime.
Small ding with a sheet metal tear in rear driver’s side rear tub along brake light cage. Tear is about ¼ inch in length. Could be repaired prior to sale, but is almost not noticeable.
Small rust spot on rear cross member under tire carrier.
Drips in the usual places
Clutch leaks - not a big deal - I usually top it up about once a month (about 1/4 inch of fluid)

Work to be done before sale:

New viscous clutch
New brake pads
New ventilated and cross drilled rotors
4 x new BritPart HD springs
4 new Britpart shocks
new steering damper
new SS extended braided brake lines

Extra parts included:

Complete polyurethane bushing kit (may install this when replacing suspension components)
ProLine Water pump (doesn’t need one, just have it in case)
Extra viscous clutch (was double-shipped with one I am replacing)
New NAS windscreen header bar
New Gaitor kit for axles (seals out dust and water)

Extra parts not included and to be sold separately: (new, never installed)

New badger 2 softtop complete – new, never installed.
New Euro header bar for above
New tailgate clip kit for above

NEW Safety Devices Roof rack and rear ladder. (this is one of the 25 ECR-commissioned ones) Currently not installed, but can be for an additional charge.

Pictures: (note, I have not taken many photos since I installed the new bumper, winch and rock sliders. There is one picture near the end of the Flickr stream that has a very recent picture, but I will upload new ones with complete recent pics soon showing all mods.

CAD $31k

Serious offers only, please.

If you are in the US, I am a private Canadian individual and do no know how to export this to you - You'll have to come and collect it and deal with the paperwork. I will assist as much as I can to facilitate, but ultimate responsibility is up to you to get it across the border. Funds need to be cleared through direct bank transfer. Vehicle will be released only after funds have cleared.

Follow-up Post:

I forgot something fairly significant..

I have recently replaced the entire exhaust system at a cost of CAD$1600. It is a custom dual SS with dual ceramic magnaflow cats and dual Flowmaster Super 44 offroading mufflers.

This Defender sounds like a hotrod!

I am a member of a local 4x4 club that is 99% jeep guys and this truck scares the cr*p out of them when I show up to the meets. My reply is always the same "That's what a v-8 sounds like, boys."

I also love pulling them out when they get stuck.
