The miles are original. The speedo has not been changed. I bought it 3 years ago with 19,000 miles and the prior owner bearly used it. I basically drove it only on nice weekend days.

Speedo.

Sorry for the mix up. I was looking at more than one on ebay. It's clearly the std mechanical odometer. Good luck. Nice looking....

No problem. I appreciate the interest. Not sure why no bids yet. I have gotten a lot of inquiries though. Do you guys think it is priced fairly?

Its a modified truck, so its hard say. You never get the price of the mods back, and lots of people are put off my it. Low miles is also a mixed bag, that brings lots of obvioulsy good points like nice interior bits, but many people think it means deteriorated seals and other maintenence hassles. That truck is nice, so I wouldnt give it away,

By the way, the reason I am finally selling this is that I need to get a slightly more practical second car that the wife can also use , but it needs to be something fun ; I'm thinking small sports car like Audi TT, so if anyone wants to propose a trade I am open to the idea.

I kinda dig that overhead console -- how much of a pain was it to fit?

It was a slight PITA in the front where it mounts to the windshield frame. Even though Tuffy says it fits the D90, it required some modification to actually mount in the front. I also had to reverse the sun visors so that they would fit properly once the console was mounted. In the end though, it was worth all of the trouble as there is no beter way I have seen to mount a full size CB in a 90.

All right guys - no luck on ebay. First $28,500 takes it (and please do not bother with low ball offers - I have already turned down a couple $26,500 offers). This is a great deal considering only 23,000 miles, all of the extras (I think I forgot to mention that it will also come with a Wilderness Rack) and all of the original parts. Let me know if anyone wants any additional pictures.

Very nice 90, and I have your TT but I wish your 90 was anything but yellow.

Good luck on the sale, oh and my buddy just sold his 90 which is almost like yours with double the miles for $29K. Try Autotrader since he sold it there.

Doug,

I have bought and sold a lot defenders. I have found that the soft tops sell for a premium in the spring. Everyone is excited about summer and ready to spend the money. Going into fall, most people just see and seasonal vehicle they will have to start paying for but cannot use for 6 months. Just my 2 cents. I would not sell for less than $28,000. Try listing it at landroverexchange.com. If you list on autotrader, build in some room to drop your price so the buyer feels like they got a good deal on line.

Good Luck,
Keith

Definitely appreciate the advice. I will check out landroverexchange.com. I would not take less than $28 and i am not in any real hurry to sell it so it is just a matter of time i guess.

Maybe I overlooked this in the details on ebay but what exhaust are you running? it looks really clean. Was the exhaust a pain to install?
