1994 Defender 90 with all the toys

This is a 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 I am listing on behalf of a friend. I built this truck up myself and will answer all questions pertaining to it. Here are the details.

Starting with the drivetrain, it has the stock 3.9L V8 with NRP stainless exhaust, LT77 transmission and LT230 transfer case. From there power goes through double cardan dana-spicer driveshafts to 4.10 ring and pinion gears from great basin rovers. These diffs have ARB lockers and heavy duty great basin axleshafts and CV joints throughout for greater strength. Wheels are american racing steel with 36x12.50x15 super swamper TSL/SX tires with 400 miles on them at the most.

The suspension consists of Safari Gard stage III springs front and rear, SG droop kit in the rear with SG rear trailing arms. The rear shock mounts are from rockware and hold 14" travel Bilstein 7100 remote reservior shocks. The front has the SG three link with heavy duty SG crossmember. Shocks are externally mounted with custom front mounts and hold 12" travel bilstein 7100s. It has energy suspension extended bumpstops as well as Safari Gard heavy duty steering rods.

Armor consists of a safari gard front bumper with 9000lb superwinch and poly rope. Diff guards front and back of course. Rockware frame sliders protedt the bottom of the frame and rear trailing arm mounts. Extreme duty safari gard rocksliders with nerf bars provide protection as well as a wider step platform. A custom rear aluminum fuel tank guard will not rust out like the stock sheetmetal piece. In the back is a custom rear bumper made using safar gard rear bumperettes joined together with a 2" reciever hitch in the middle. Genuine 5 bar wing top protectors are installed.

On the inside there is a tuffy center console with alpine CD head unit. Mounted to the back is an MTX amp that powers a sub in the back. Also in back are Tuffy storage lockers on both rear fenders. In the load space is a large Tuffy storage box that opens fron the top or a door facing the rear. There is a rear seat with seat belts that can be included if needed. Currently installed is the full Bestop soft top but also included is a badger coachworks bikini top and land rover surrey top. It has A/C as well for hot weather but it needs a new compressor.

Everything is in top working order and meticulously maintained. Wheel bearing are freshly packed and all fluids are recently changed. There is some trail damage to the rear fender near the fuel filler in the picture. On the other side the paint was scraped but repaired. Other than that this truck is in fantasic shape and looks great.

If you have any desire to own a modified Land Rover this is definately the way to get it. The high cost off all of these aftermarket parts plus the time and cost of installation make this this the best way to go.

His asking price is $33500 or best offer.

Here are some pics of the vehicle.

Neato! He doesn't disclose the "trail damage" on a wheeling site but does it for the ebay crowd?

this is a sweet looking truck, I saw it on ebay a few days ago... it gives me something to shoot for when tastefully modding a d90

Hey Fear Factory, I thought this was your rig for a second, glad to see it is just someone trying to pretend to be you. Pendy and I have been planning a road trip for you and Geoff this summer...you up for it?

Actually the guy selling this one is doing so in order to buy mine so I'll be out of the Defender game. I haven't driven it since the rally in Colorado so it might as well go. Geoff still has his though at least for now.
