Never overheated. The fan stays enguaged. The temp has NEVER gone above mid way on the gauge. I'm just trying to let potential buyers know of any issues.

great thanks - saw the pics. what kind of shape is it in mechanically?
My two biggest concerns are the history of course/owner service etc, and second the current mechanical condition so I can gage how much I should expect to put into it should I propose a low bid.

Not getting out, just changing course. Going back with another classic and looking at a 109 project as well. I love the D90. I just need more room with the Connor & two big dogs.

Follow-up Post:

Mechanically the truck is in pretty good shape. All of the fluids have been changed in the past 1000 miles. All of the u joints were replaced last year. I had the radiator flushed this winter. I had the fuel rail and injector cleaning service this past September. I also put a new K&N filter and new spark plugs at that time. The truck runs fine. I drive it a few days a week to my office. I suspect it will need new brakes in the near future. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The ac needs to be charged and I need to put a new belt on the compressor. It worked fine before the belt went. I will install the new belt in the next couple of days. The upper speedo cable needs to be replaced. The speedo is not functioning at the moment. If anyone has other questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for your interest.

Scott

Classic I have

1994 LWB; Beluga Black. 109K miles and TONS of services / upgrades done to her. CA car, never seen snow, with sorted out air suspension. New interior updates (stereo, switches, updated electrical); re-sprayed the roof (paint was badly worn. A few dings here and there, but nothing big to note. Fully serviced at CitySide Garage; Alan has all of the records if you want the details. He has gone through the truck front to back.

I am looking for another Defender project (as my 97 SW is nearly done), starting with a galvy frame / tdi setup, and yours looks like a good starting point.
