1994 Defender 90 for sale

This is a 94 defender 90 custom restored located in Morocco.
The car is as far as I am concerned original (frame, engine, transmission...)
It is a 2.5 Diesel (no turbo) left hand drive.
If someone is coming by morocco please contact me if you are interested.
As a non professional, it has been really hard and a defender project needs a loooooooot of passion. Too much details but his car has a soul. He owns you. You don't !

If trying to sell into the United States you'll need to wait until it's old enough. Canada will take it though.

Yes 1of40 of course the 25 year rule...
I don't have enough resources to keep it and do more detailed restoration but would make an excellent deal for canada (who will buy it will have fun for 2 years then sell it in USA...) and maybe make a good value on it !

Sounds like a well thought out plan to me.

Out of curiosity, how much would one of these cars go (assuming it looks identical) for if it were a NAS D90 and in the US already

How long is a length of string?

NAS prices can vary just like anything else. I spoke to a guy this week that got a 95SW for $11K, but the chassis was shot. The most recent sale I've seen was earlier this week on BaT for $55K. The BaT truck was probably a little above average condition but the consensus seemed to be that people thought "someone got a great deal".

So, it depends on a lot of factors.

Hi
Anyone flying to Morocco this summer ? If not it's time to book your ticket and by the way come see this beautiful truck !

Here some pictures I took this week end. The interior is not finished yet (radio, cubbybox...). I will post probably more after when they're installed.

Perfect to cruise in style while going to your favorite coffeeshop and then on your way to a surf day on the beach or an off-roading not so relaxing day.
Very cool and sophisticated look in town but still the same oldschool off-road capabilities.

Importing stuff...

Question : does the importer need to be us citizen to bring the car and title it in USA ? Can someone explain the procedures or refer to a post about that ?
Thank you !

Thanks Ron.
I was wondering more about the importer himself condition. like for a foreigner (not us citizen), if he can import the car without selling it to a us citizen or has to have a US buyer already to register it on his name.

Im not a professional dealer just particular and I might wait for my truck to celebrate his 25th birthday and bring it to florida, but im not us citizen...
The car is all original regarding to the VIN (chassis, engine, transmission, year...)

Hi guys

No one interested in this beauty !! Very solid car all original ready if you want to import to CANADA and later to USA.

I put and still putting a lot of time and money in this machine (sometimes you really hate it !!) but you can't describe it until you own one...

If you think it is only a matter of bodywork, paint and put a set of brand new wheels and tires, people are all wrong !!
If you didn't go into a defender restoration project, I can tell you it is a loooot of work and dedicated passion...

Car is still all original. I decided not to change the engine or trainy or put power windows and locks to make it importable to canada and US.

Engine is 2.5NA not really punchy but still good for urban use and of course for offroading...

Other pictures can be sent by PM.

Thank you !

Is the market for defenders going low or is it just me ???

I know I'm insisting but will be till this baby finds a new home !

New pics and updates : Rear bench seats installed, tinted windows and new windshield installed, Tomb raider style side steps installed, power locks, radio installed.

I put it for sale in local market for around 20 K$ range.

Depending on how the market goes and if I hold the car till it is 25 years old, Price might goes up if it is eligible to US customs.

Truck is just glowing and a jewelery to see !!

Beside that, How do you see the 25 YO defenders market trends for the next couple years in North american market ?
