1994 Land Rover Defender 90. Originally a soft top, but now has a ROW hard top, rear liftgate/tailgate and van sides. Clear title SALDV2289RA934529 (#174), ~194k miles. I have had this Rover since late fall, but have been finding myself with too little time to really work on the project for the foreseable future. I would rather see it go to someone that has time to do work and bring this 90 back up to snuff. So, I am posting up to see if anyone is looking for a project. The truck definitely needs paint, unless you are comfortable driving around with different colored body parts. Or, perhaps take the title and many of the parts and build a 110.
For the bad:
Rust in both footwells.
Rust on the rear tub cappings.
Small dents in many of the body panels.
The engine smokes a little at start up.
Both seats should be reupholstered or replaced.
There are some cracks in the plastic dash.
The center console looks rough and does not lock.
Missing the Passenger side sun visor.
There is a bit of rust on the rear crossmember.
Needs paint as mentioned.
12k lb Warn Winch
Winch front bumper that has been galvanized prior to painting.
Rock sliders also galvanized prior to painting
4.10 gears in the differentials
Rear Arb and compressor.
Heavy Duty front skid plate.
Front and Rear Diff Protectors.
New series doors modified to work on Defender.
New door and top seals.
New u-joints in front driveshaft
R380 with ~50k miles on it (I cannot verify this fact, just going on the previous owners word)
255-85/16 Dunlop Mud Tires with little wear (BFG mud terrain on spare)
Hood spare tire mount.
Rear bench seat
Extra set of 15x8 American Racing steel rims
Extra axles and suspension from 1994 RR LWB
Extra distributor, starter, fuel injectors from 1994 RR
Please take a look at the pictures. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
or PM me with any questions. Please no lowball offers. I do not need to sell this (and I go back and forth about even posting it), I am mostly hoping to find someone that has the time and space to give this more attention than I do at the moment. The Defender is located in Burlington, VT. Thanks.
