1994 d-90 300tdi

Unfortunately, I recently suffered a serious hand injury and can no longer offroad with a manual transmission, so I'm selling my 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 300 TDI.
It is number 1182 and I have been the owner for 9 years. I bought it from the owner of Northwest Rover Products in McMinnville, OR and he bought it from the original owner in Washington.
3 years ago, I rolled it on Potato Salad Hill and all the body panels, bulkhead, rollcage, were damaged so using the insurance payment I had Roverhybrids (www.roverhybrids.com) do a frame up conversion from the 3.9 litre gas V8 to a 2002 Discovery 300 TDI motor with 36,000 miles on it. All body panels, bulkhead, rollcage were replaced and the color was changed to Coniston Green from the original white. The panels, bulkhead, etc were painted separately and then the vehicle was assembled.
The vehicle is tighter now than when I bought it.
There is absolutely no rust.
It isn't perfect but it is damn close. There is a scrape on the rear passenger corner and a small dent on the driver's wing front (a paintless dent repair guy should be able to tease it out). The top has had three tear repairs. That's it.
Here is a list of what has been done over the years:

Yeah, I've seen the truck, its a typical Shane-quality job, which is to say its fabulous. I was at his shop one day and he was appolgizing for the quality of the then-fresh paint job - and it was in all ways better than factory.

Its probably fair to say that Shane doesn't have clients so much as he has patrons, and its not every day you get a chance to buy the art which the patrons commission.

That sux to have to give that up. I hope someday you go back to potato salad hill and pee on it.

If it was me, I would get a new hand, before letting that go. I'd put a ring on top of the shifter and get me a hook.

Nice rig. It's diesel-sexy.

I would convert it to Auto... Cirbus did it a few years back, and he is running a 300TDI too.

I agree, and I would say the same to Gustavo (although he may need to get creative to squeeze more juice out of his two-hundy to make it work in a 110).

Man, if I only had 40k! This is such a nice D90. In the meantime maybe I can get the same front bumper and make diesel noises when I'm driving to pretend....

Seriously though, I like that front bumper. I got on Rockware's site and I didn't see anything that looked like that- are you sure it's a Rockware? The Rover Hybrids site referred to it as a "Shipman" bumper- not sure if that's a "Shipman" model made by Rockware- or if it's actually made by a company called, "Shipman". Wasn't able to come up with anything on a google search....

Shipman bumpers are made by a guy named Shipman. Doug I think? I don't have his contact info but someone here must, assuming he's still making bumpers.

It used to have one of Ships' bumpers but now has a Rockware D110 unit. Since I have a/c and a big full width intercooler I used a D110 grill surround because it sticks out 2" more and I needed the room.
I don't think Doug makes these anymore but you can reach him at 503-252-5566 in Portland, OR

I bought them from Rovers North and I just called today to see if they might also fit my 1991 RR.
Unfortunately LR no longer makes them - which is too bad as they were the best sound deadening I've done to the truck.
You might try Craddock. I think I saw some in their ad in Land Rover Enthusiast.

I traded emails with him last week. He said it was off the market - couldn't bear to sell it.
