1994 Conniston Green D-90- Mine!

I just listed my truck on e-bay. I have taken it completely back to a stock appearance with all the upgrades now in the suspension, engine bay, and sundries.

This truck is like new and runs like a scalded dog.

Yes, it is high for a buy it now, but ... keep in mind, this truck has had near the buy in now invested in it in the last two years!!

Here is the listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...38#ht_1101wt_0

Thanks... just thought I would throw it up before someone else did.

Dendy

ps: Selling because of the 110 build.

Hey, Guys:

Someone get into an argument with me over my truck. I have never seen so much attention drawn to a truck.
Maybe I should change the price on mine to 70K.

It seems to me the market has slowed a little for the Defender, most likely due to the economy. There also seems to be a lot of D90s on the market right now (including mine) at all ranges of the price spectrum. Good luck with your sale and I am keeping my fingers crossed on mine!

Still for sale. HAVE to get $28,900.00 for this truck. That is the lowest I can take for this truck and not lose my A$$ on the truck. I have way yonder more invested.

Thanks
Dendy

Looks like your high bidder was just $800 away from saving you A$$. The D90 market is pretty tough out here in the west right now. There is a 97 LE SW for sale in Scottdale for around $35000. Prices like that seem to push the price of a nice ST like yours down. I wonder how you would have faired by leaving all the goodies on this one and trying to sell it thru a specialty auction like Barret Jackson. Has anyone tried that route?

Good luck with the continuing sale.

Dendy,
I'll help you out once again and take the the ARB bumper and winch that was on your Defender that is now on the 110. It would go good with the Urban Offroad Rack I bought from you. That should bring some piece of mind...LOL.
Wish I needed another 'cause Dendy's truck is nice!!!

Hey, Keith:
While I appreciate that, ... I have grown quite accustomed to the ARB in its new home.
Thanks for the props on the truck. You know, cause you have seen it in person!

Thanks

OK, one last time:

If it doesn't sell this time, ... I'm keeping it!!! (my wife will simply have to be angry about it!)

I refuse (even if the economy sucks) to lose any more money on this truck. As it is, in 2007 $16,000 was spend under the hood!! At least half that much in new tires, wheels, suspension, brakes, exhaust!!

and around $5500 in new top, gutter kit!

Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...23#ht_1083wt_0

Thanks for listening, looking and hopefully, BUYING!!!

Dendy

All gaskets, hoses, belts replaced. Just about new everything.(engine completely gone thru and tranny).
All Electronics routed to Tuffy Box inside cab to allow deep water fording. (this was performed by a LR dealership and was not cheap!)
New High Performance Marine Grade Distributor.
I think that the Borla Exhaust was included in that bill.
Just look at the auction. Everything performed listed there.

Follow-up Post:

I guess my point is: There are plenty of "D-90 Deals" out there right now. Most of these (if you investigate) are trucks that need something done to them and with the economy gone bust, folks are off loading them instead of fixing them.
Anyone here that has purchased a low 20K truck knows that you will put at a very minumum 5K into it over the next 18 months!

Mine needs nothing. It has all been done. Your gain is my loss.

The deal was, that when I purchased the 110, I would sell this truck. I thought I would make a nice profit on it at the time selling it for High 30's Low 40's. Then the economy tanked. Who knew!

Anyway, someone will get a super nice truck!

Thanks
D

Follow-up Post:

PS: I did go back through the rec'ts and the 16K did also include the Borla Exhaust, the brakes, rotors, brake lines, Old Man Emu Shocks, Springs, etc.

Additionally, those that have seen the truck will tell you that I also spared no expense locating "spare" tire alloys and replaced all the truck alloys with like new rims. Also new tires all around.

Thanks
D

Just keep the truck... In a normal economy, it's better than money in the bank.

If you need to, you can store it at my house, so your wife doesn't know you still have it.
