very minimal - the gas skid plate will need replacing. The stock brush bar is flaking. The rear cross member has a small rust area. The exhaust rusted out and I replace it with a Borla catback. The top bed rails have a little rust, but I have been treating that with por 15 and it has not progressed.

No story really - I did not like the 1/2 doors - they leaked bad, were drafty at highway speeds, and the sliding window was a pain in the ...

I bought some used SW doors from a member here, refurbished them, repainted the gray interior panels with black vinyl spray, had the doors painted by a body shop Alpine White. Before I reassembled them I replaced the old windup mechanism with new ones from Rovers North and I added an electric window kit from Spal. Both window switches are located in the center panel where the clock used to be.

I do not have the ST Doors - sold them to another member here a few years back.

Follow-up Post:

I will be taking more pictures this weekend for everyone that has asked.

Thanks,
Mark

Not to hijack the thread, but did you have any issues in fitting the SW doors ? Do you have the gutter kit installed with your Badger II and did you have to do any mods to get a good door seal and minimize leaks ?

Robert.

There were no issues fitting the doors. I received the U-lock (the jamb part) with the doors. Unbolted the ST doors - Bolted on the SW doors and aligned them. The only change was that I needed to buy the rtaining bars and harware that go on the hinge side to keep the doors from opening to wide.

Yes I have the gutter kit and the doors seal very well. Minor leaks when there is heavy rain.

Hope you post some pica with the top off. Just wondering what your truck looks like with the top off and the sw doors. How much did the doors cost you? And the paint etc. cost?

test drive

I test drove this truck today, i'd buy it myself if i could ever get the money back that i sank into mine. (and the time i've put into it) Maybe its just driving a V8 instead of a 4 cyl, but this truck drove very well. As ive said before, i'm far from an expert, but it seemed tight, and the rust seems minimal. The owner is very upfront and if you need anything i'd be glad to go back. He's only a mile from my house. The truck is pretty much set up! And i swear i've never met the guy before!

If anyone is shying away from this truck because of the SW doors on the ST, I may be interested in trying to find a set of ST doors and swapping with these! The guys shop is like 2 miles from my place and it would be pretty easy for me to do.

Mike - to be honest I can not believe it either - I never expected to have it listed so long at this price and not move it.

You know, if I didn't just buy one, I probably would of been all over this one. Good luck
