1993 Range Rover LWB 300Tdi

$ 15,000---1993 Range Rover LWB, 300 Tdi Diesel conversion with diesel ZF transmission, LT230 1:2 transfer case, new timing belt 5,500 miles ago, new tie rod ends Aug. 2016, new water pump June 2016, new steering shaft Nov. 2015, new headliner (black) Sep. 2014-Kexby black canvas seatcovers front/rear.
I think it has about a 2.5-3" lift on it right now and those are 265/75 tires on the original color matched 5-spokes
'93 LWBs all had color matched wheels-This is Ardennes Green
Like most old Rovers a few things dont work...its a pretty solid truck.
It's no rust bucket, but the clearcoat started peeling years ago.
Its been a daily driver off/on for 10 years.
Some of you have seen it, it's been to Uwharrie, The Cove, MAR, Rausch Creek.
Really just light wheeling because I usually beat The Hunter up on the trails---ouch.

Too many Rovers in the driveway and this old gal drew the short straw...

That's the problem Mark, 2 Range Rovers and another Rover coming up shortly.... and a Toyota and a Ford... no more space in the driveway!

Some money shots...

Oh, and glwts! ;-)

And you've got rear lwb rubber mats! That's worth a few grand right there! Jk, but almost!

Good lookin' rig! I had a 300 lwb for a while and really loved it. Great economy and giddy up, even despite the heft, but it was in Cali so that love affair had to end.

Ok, a non fisheye picture.

Should I put the front airdam back on? It sort of looks chinless....

Nice running ride after we exposed and fixed an air leak.
GLWTS as it was a really well done swap into a nice solid example.

Not with the lift IMO but you could include it with sale if you want.

Forgot to mention, this truck has one of Robert's 100a alternators and the more powerful starter.
I will include the old take-offs with the sale.
(Not the water pump though, as it was very wobbly)

Black headliner; doesn't show dirt

Interior picture:

EGT gauge center dash
It has an Alpine head unit/media player- all 4 speakers work but there is no subwoofer(the 1993 woofer gave out some time ago, probably not long after the CD changer quit)

Most of the wood trim is in good condition but the window switches fall into the cubby box like they all do when that top piece breaks.
I don't know if anyone has come up with a good fix for that.
Also has D2 cupholders that are offset so you can lock the LT230 side-to-side
(Fuse box cover is not shown but will be included)

This is the only visible rust.
Just under the taillights/inner.
It was painted over years ago but as I've said to some people already, the car could really use a good repaint.

These models suffer from clearcoat peel.
I used PlastiCote and did a hood blackout a few years back.

I just drove to Richmond VA Saturday night and back; 200 mile round trip.
No issues, dripped oil just like always. ha ha

Heat works great with the 300Tdi and the Range Rover.
Heated windshield was was just replaced with a new one 2 years ago so that always clears fast.

No AC in the truck. All the components are there except the compressor.

Also needs the glowplug relay hooked up.
