Smile 1993 NAS Defender 110 with 4.6 #402

I usually don't post on cars for sale but here goes...

(from Craigslist ad)

This is number 402 out of the 500 NAS 110's imported into the United States.
This trucks has gone through an extensive refurbishment within the last 5 years
The truck has a New TD5 dash, update Rovers North Air Conditioning, a powerful 4.6 motor was installed while the whole body was taken apart and rebuilt then repainted Alpine white.
The interior has been updated with the high end leather seats by Exmoor Trim.
For your winter excursion the truck is equipped with a heated wind screen and axillary heat for the rear passenger compartment.
The Defender currently has a roof top tent and awing attached to a custom roof rack with Hella 4000 lights.

The cage was removed from the truck, sand blasted and powder coated..

The truck has the original LT 77 5 speed and suffers from the typical falts

I would consider a NAS Defender in partial trade towards this wonderful Defender 110

Cheers

What's the history/story behind the engine? Miles and/or documentation on the rebuild and install? Number of owners?

When I first looked at the dash, I thought it had a cassette player in there for some reason

Sorry price is $65000

I believe 2 owners...but easy enough for you to run the vin..

The motor was a crate motor from AB.. maybe 50 k miles since rebuild of truck

everything on the truck has been touched or upgraded .. except the LT 77 that has 222k

this truck would be perfect for an auto conversion... the 4.6 moves...

I would gladly take 2 beagles.. the Australian Shepard is a hand full...

also has the heated wind screen.... and as mentioned heat for the rear passengers.... this is a well sorted truck... most of the work done by City Side Garage ,,,,,the go to shop for Copley Motor Cars,,,,oh also all the capping and outside trim was sans blasted the galvanized then painted...

and it has South down Front steering protection, front diff protection..also by south Down rear diff protection and custom exhaust.. (sound throaty)

The truck has been set up for expedition style travel,,,,and the 4.6 makes all the difference... it is what land rover should have put in the truck...

Nice truck! I would expect it to move quickly at that price.
