1993 nas 110 #463

1993 NAS110 436/500
Clean HI title and Carfax, located on Oahu, HI
A very nice, clean NAS110 example. This truck is ready to go and needs nothing for you to start enjoying it. 156k total chassis miles, with 25k miles on brand new drivetrain. All steel parts show exceptionally well. Frame is clean and has zero rust or rot. Bulkhead is squeaky clean and rust-free. Doors are solid with no bottom-rot. Prior to me receiving this truck the previous owner had a new International HS2.8L professionally installed with brand new Ashcroft R380 and LT230 1.4 TCase. I've driven a few 2.8s, and this one is dialed in perfectly with no issues. Cruises as 70+MPH and the VNT turbo is a welcome addition. Truck drives straight and stops very well. Previous owner converted the NAS110 HVAC system and installed updated AC.

Goodies:
New International HS2.8L motor, 25K miles. Extended oil pan
New Ashcroft R380 and LT230
Aluminum radiator and large IC
OME springs and shocks
ARB bumper with Warn 8k winch with synth line and F55 hook
Winch controls remoted to fender and interior
Rolling on BFG MTs 235/85/R16s on Wolf rims
ARB rear locker, Ashcroft front locker
TF HD front diff cover, HD D60 rear diff cover
TF front steering skid
Custom tree sliders and rear corner protection
All exterior black work was powdercoated.
Freshly powdercoated SD exo cage
Tracker seat covers with matching arm rest on the Tuffy
Tuffy console houses the locker and secondary winch controls
Rear drawer system with pull out shelves
Window tinting all around
Power windows and power locks
Heated seats
Blaupunkt stereo with CD and Bluetooth
Black 5-bar on the hood and fenders
Mantec snorkle
Cobra CB
Garmin GPS
New headliner
SDO grill and vent covers
Dual batteries, battery isolator, and remote fuse panel for accessories
Heated windscreen
MudUK center dash and pod with VDO guages and carling switches
Seats 5 comfortably with all seat belts operational
All interior trim is intact

Known Issues:
Heater motor is intermittent (I'm in HI and it's not high on the list to fix)
Defrost diverter cable not hooked up (Again, not needed in HI)
Door bottoms are SOLID. What rust I did find inside the doors was abated, primed, and painted
Rear reverse light is not hooked up to the tranny (low on my priority list to fix)
I've worked meticulously to fix any known issues

I searched for a while to find a nice NAS110, and this one had the perfect mix of upgraded drivetrain and off road goodies, but retained a lot of the NAS110, all with a somewhat reasonable price.

There is no camping or wheeling on Oahu, and I won't be using this truck for it's intended purpose for the next 2-4 years. It's just sitting in my garage...

Truck come with a plethora of spares, to include the original drivetrain and roof basket - those are located in Portland, OR.

Asking $85K, which will include shipping to a west coast port.

Totally blown away by the crickets I hear. Sounds like a solid truck at a decent asking price considering the silliness on eBay and places. It certainly made me pause for a moment and think twice. If it were stock I'd been on it two days ago.

It's a nice truck. Good luck with the sale. Is there any reason you are not mentioning the truck's history or what the title was before HI?

Seems a very "used car salesman" move.

Here are a few more detail pics. As an interesting side story to this truck, it was stolen circa 2006 and disassembled. The theft ring was busted and the truck was professionally put back together by Doug Shipman at Ship's Mechanical Services in Portland, OR. As mentioned, clear Carfax and HI title, and clear OR title received by me.

The truck shows evidence of new rubber, seals, and hardware. Front and middle floors, and seatbox are Rhinolined top and bottom, and it has the heavy rubber firewall liner. You can actually carry on a conversation at full throttle.

Sorry for the late reply, I normally have you blocked so I didn't see that you posted until I logged in on my desktop. I've relayed above what I know about the previous history of the truck. No "used car salesman" moves here.

It's no secret that the truck was previously stolen, there's a post on this forum: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...10-a-8125.html

And I've posted about it, and most NW US Rover guys know this truck and previous owners very well.

The theft was actually a good thing as it was the impetus for a full rebuild and a lot of new parts.

Thank you for coming out of your hole to post another useless comment to stir the pot.

Troll block back on...

I was under the impression it had a theft recovery title in Oregon but if not I apologize. It is still part of the history of the truck that you conveniently didn't mention.

Trolling would be asking what you paid for it from another board member before relisting.

.......and if I was really trolling I would throw in I actually think the truck is worth less than you paid with the garbage you added like the diamond plate on the hood.

LOVE THAT I'M BLOCKED!!!!!!!

Looks like 5 bar from here. ;-)

Gorgeous truck. Glwts

I actually love the look of breaking up the fields of white on a 110 with a bit of contrast (i.e. Black cage and a reasonable amount of plate). Wing plate is extremely functional and the flimsy hood actually benefits from it. I even saw a member's truck with black vents as well. Daring, but actually good looking and it added a bit of depth to the field under the windscreen.

My kids use the truck as a jungle gym and are constantly sitting on the hood. Standing on the hood is also helpful getting the paddle boards and kayaks off and on.

Question: Do all NAS 110's have this internal horizontal bar? The extra strut/buttress looks custom.

Not all. I believe all '93 NAS 110s and early '94 NAS 90s had this. The rear jump seat seat belts are tied in to it.

Ahhh, gotcha. Thanks. All early NAS (110's and 90's through mid '94). We polled the 90's and they were still there on '94 badge #420.

Killer truck. Good luck, sir.

And not that anyone gives a shit, but I'm pretty sure the thread wolf posted isn't even about his truck. That was another board member who had a similar thing happen but still owns it.
