1993 Land Rover Defender 110 in Scottsdale, AZ $70k. At Land Rover North Scottsdale.

It will be on eBay shortly. I just finished photographing it. Extremely clean, only rust I could find was a very small bit on the rear door hinge. Arizona vehicle since new I believe.

O M G!

That is as nice as I have seen for an original truck.

I would rather have that than a new 911 or even a complete NAS 110 resto.

edit: Number 435 for JimC

Not to hijack, but can somebody help me understand the purpose of this design (photo attached)? Everytime I look at the footwells on my bulkhead, I think if they would have just done something different here, I would have several more years. Instead I have two really bad patches and am counting the days until I need a swap/rebuild.

Here's the ebay link. Starting at $45k.

Happy bidding. They had to lock the gates to keep me on property with it. Mexico isn't that far, I could have made it.

I would put that in my garage, cover all the metal parts with light oil, and never take it out. I would just start it up and put the axles on jack stands and run it once a month up to temp.

are you sure you could resist the temptation of driving it? My attempts to mothball mine for the winter failed miserably after about 2 weeks. I figured screw it what am i saving it for? Of course mine isnt as low miles as that and has a couple more rusty hinges that need to be replaced but life is too short to not enjoy your vehicles.

I understand. Do you rustproof your D110? I hear Maine winters are brutal...

Cheers...

Nice 110. I don't think I've ever seen one that clean.

That has always seemed like an anomoly to me. The earlier ones aren't like that. You would think they would have brought the galv inner fender well down as low as possible to protect that frame outrigger.
