1993 Defender 110 #149

OK so I have been here before, but I am throwing it back on the market. I tried to find my old post so I didn't have to rewrite but search mode isn't working for me.

#149 spent most of it's like in Kansas I beleive on some sort of ranch. It was done over in 2003 by Blue Ridge Rovers. They added the accessories, painted, powder coated and recovered the seats. It then became the famed Monte Cristo for about a year. I picked it up shortly after and gave it back it's dignity.

Below is a link to pictures. The first are from when I first got it and not a lot has changed on the exterior except removing t he ARB bumper and winch and installing the stock bumper. The more recent pictures show that as well as the basket, side steps and rear bumper are off but come with it. I also am removing the TSL's and putting the 33"s and alloys back on, unless someone wants it as is. It has 137,000 miles on it. I did the following work.

Redone heads and gaskets 3000 miles
New R-380 3000miles
New LT-230 3000miles
New clutch 3000 miles
Front and rear ARB lockers
Rovertracks front 24 spline axles
Tom Woods shaft
Tank skid plate
Diff protectors
NRP exhaust

And a bunch more maintainence stuff.

I'll take $38,000. Sorry no trades, I don't need a d-90, a BMW, the Batmobile, or a really cool AMC Pacer, unless it's the Limo version from Wayne's World.

PM me for more details.

It is a great truck, there is bunch of people who have seen it and can vouch for it. I was thinking of putting it on Flebay with the heading "Rare high performance 4x4. Greatest truck on the planet, new in box" Oh wait that has already been done.

you forgot "rare color"......have a feeling if I dont buy this, I'll lose enough in the stock market to have paid for it in the next 60 days.

I have no idea why Josh has not bought a Defender yet. I have seen some of the best looking, cheapests trucks on the maket these last 3 months. Two great 110s and countless 90s for under 25/20k. Buy one Josh!

Yes, we all know in a better economy it's a 50K truck, but my house and portfolio used to be worth more too. Forgot to say I take cash, travelers checks, bank checks and space bucks.

If I didn't dump both my Rovers because of the fuel economy I would grab this in a second. Hope to see this on the roads in Calgary Jason.

Omigod. Shit. This is the rig that I saw in Overland Journal back in 2008.

This VTXS truck, along with the awesome blueness of Marchand's 90, totally solidified my Defender mental illness. So beautiful.

Is there anyway to redo my cappings (galv) without taking the whole truck apart?
