1991 Range Rover Great Divide Edition #040

I think it may be time to move on from my GDE...

1991 Range Rover Great Divide Edition #040 (of 400)
White/tan leather (obviously)
164k miles and runs solid!
and yes it is an actual Great Divide Edition (documented VIN) with the brass plaque in the door and all that stuff.

Many upgrades, new parts, and services...

New Parts:
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Fuel Lines
Fuel Pump and Strainer
Coolant temp Sensor
Tune Up (Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor)
Water Pump
Top Rad Hose
All Belts
Stepper Motor/IACV
PCV T fitting
clean used upper gate with no rust from Dr. Aaron
new brake rotors and pads f&R
Dome light lenses

Upgrades:
Optima Deep Cycle Battery (yellow top)
Wilderness full length rack
4- Hella 500 front lights (on rack)
2- SRS lights on brush bar
Custom 1/4" steep winch box and modded GDE bumper for winch
8000 lbs Harbor Freight winch (yes it works fine and has saved my butt a few times)
New Tail light guards from AB
OME 752/763 springs (2"/3" lift)
Rancho RS5000 shocks (toyota FJ80 LC front shocks for 1" extra sag)
Rancho steering damper (relocated to above front sttering rod)
Custom exhaust with Flowmaster muffler
SouthDown Axle Guard
AB Steering Guard
QT rear diff guard
Custom rear Radius Arms with welded on sliders
235/85 (32") Sidewinder MTs @ 6/32" on stock GDE wheels
GM ignition Module Conversion (Accel ignition module and Accel Coil)
Range Rover OE Rubber all weather floor mats
Cobra CB with shielded coax and Firestik Antenna
JVC CD player with PowerBass Speakers (front component and rear coax)

THE BAD:

Needs new gas tank (rust at the seams causing small leaks)
$330 from AB

Needs New distributor (runs fine but Vac Advance is bad making sluggish at upper rpms)
Mallory Unilite conversion $450 for all parts from Summit Racing

Needs Converters (again runs fine but converters rattle and makes traffic lights embarrasing)
$ ??? I was going to gut them because we don't have emmisions testing here

Needs One trans cooler line (metal section split) would possibly need more in the near future.. Trans shifts and holds great.. line blew when i put it in drive leaving work the other night
$225 from RoversNorth

Rear Bumper Caps are gone... I never cared about this

A/C Doesnt work... Compressor and clutch spim free but i think there is just a leak ( no one i know has R12 gauges to confirm or vac the system)

I may have missed a thing or two but the truck is a solid runner but not a beauty queen
there is a small bit of rust in the RR door (hole in the corner is about the side of a thumb tack) and some rust in the sill plates (where the side skirts attach) on both sides. the frame is solid with ZERO rust and there was some rust in the front floorboards but that has been patched.

Open to REASONABLE OFFERS and I am NOT looking to part the truck at this time

Truck is in Roanoke, VA and would need to be trailered (due to the trans line)

Has it had the fuel tank recall work done yet? If not, then the dealer should replace the tank to take care of the leaks.

I looked into the fuel tank recall last year and two separate dealers said "no" to me, that there was "no recall" in the system. Basically, even though I knew there was, the one guy said his computer didnt go back that far. I ended up buying a proline one from RN and doing it myself.

Ordered new fuel tank from AB and will be installed this week. Also new custom (servicable) trans cooler lines have been installed and also added a new coolant reserve bottle, battery, exhaust is being fixed, and will be putting on new tires before sale

Just got a frest set of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo2 Tires in LT235/85R16 and all parts are installed along with new rear hatch struts too. If there is a deal made and the purchaser would rather have Firestone MTs, I can swap in the next 25 days
