1990 110 5 door 200Tdi - First Registration December 1990

Trying this again,

$19,000 /obo

The truck is currently located in Germany.

Here are the details:
- RHD 1990 110 CSW
- Original 200tdi, 118,000 miles
- Truck starts on the button, puff of black smoke and runs smooth (for a 200 Tdi)
- First registered 5 December 1990 - I have not retrieved the build date. Presumably the truck was built between September 1990 and it's first registration date.
- Original, matching S/Ns.

Condition of the vehicle:
The good -
- New Exmoor moorland trim interior - I selected this pattern as it 1) looks good, and 2) is an original LR fabric.
Before I bought it, it had had a new turbocharger. I had the following work done by Fraser Barsby (Rugged Guide) at about 108,000 miles:
- fully serviced (oils, belts, etc)
- new radiator, new water pump
- full timing belt service (belt, tensioner, gaskets, etc)
- new cappings on both sides
- replaced the c pillars (behind rear doors)
- Replaced rear left quarter panel
- all new lights
- replaced the center crossmember underneath the rear passenger seats
- replaced all five doors with new doors
- all new brakes and rotors
- all new stock LR springs
- 4 new Koni heavy track shock absorbers
- all new shock turrets
- Repaired both foot wells and upper corners of bulkhead
- patched and repaired parts of chassis
- new power steering drop arm
- new rear link bushes
- new track rod ends
- new master light switch
- completely new Exmoor trim Moorland interior seats
- Exmoor trim front matting system
- Interior painted in stone chip and RAL 7003 (Moss Grey)
- Exterior painted in RAL 7003 (Moss grey)
- New black diamond plating on the fenders, sills and rear door quarter panel
- Exmoor trim heated seats
- Heated front windscreen
- New center console
- all new rear seatbelts
- MUD UK dash console
- MUD UK rear door panel
- roof liner recovered in black
- five new 16 inch WOLF rims
- five new Cooper S/T Maxx tires in 235/85-16

At about 111,000 miles it had a new fuel tank from Nakatanenga, it also had new front and rear Nakatanenga prop shafts.

The headlight wiring has been completely redone by Nakatanenga and their auto electrician. When they repaired and replaced the wiring I had them wire up the circuit with auxiliary drive lights that meet EU safety requirements (operated with the high beams). At present, there are no auxiliary lights fitted, just the wiring.

The bad: Bottom line is that it's a good engine and drive train, chassis is a good candidate for replacement.

1) Its an original chassis RHD British spec vehicle. Judging from the range of vehicles sold on the forum, I'd give the chassis a 5 or 6 out of 10. It's solid, but it is showing its age. It's been patched in places, and I believe the rear cross member was replaced at some point prior to my purchase.

2) The LT230 transfer box has a very slow drip after driving and bringing up to operating temperature. I think its old seals and a clogged breather pipe, but I have not checked it yet. It's a very slow leak.

3) While the C pillars were replaced by Rugged Guide, the sill rails and bulkhead should also have been. Again, they are solid, but not pretty. The Bulkhead was repaired when the vehicle was worked on, but it's showing its age. It's a good candidate for a galvanized bulkhead and frame.

Are you importing this to the states or leaving it up to the buyer?

I won't be headed back to the states until sometime between May and July of next year. At this point importation would be up to the buyer.

Resurrecting this one. I'm now in the states, the truck has been legally imported, passing muster with CBP, etc. it's currently in Colorado. Since it's now in the states, and I had the transmission/transfer case pulled apart and gone through, I'm now looking for 25k. The frame is it's biggest downside, it's nearly 26 years old and original.

Also, I'm not fixed on the price, make a reasonable offer and we'll talk. I'm open to trades - I'm looking for a Ford F250 or Toyota Tacoma.

Did you buy this privately or from a dealer in Germany?

Hi, I found it in the U.K. and bought it privately. Drove it for several years there and then imported to the US.
