No idea what I'm gonna do with it. Maybe a tailgate truck or something. Would be an odd daily driver ......

Short and Stout

I did actually consider turning it into a food truck with a friend of mine who owns a restaurant chain. However the head room is not high enough for a 6ft person to stand up in and then after talking to a number of food truck manufacturers the width of the Defender wasn’t wide enough to fit the kitchen equipment needed.

So we came up with the idea of a 4x4 go anywhere beer truck. Serving traditional British ales and beers served by midgets.

We were going to call the business – ‘Short and Stout.’

Beer and specialty drinks at events. I have to figure out the abc laws and city permits. It will most likely be a money losing endeavor but fun.

I had a friend who did something similar in Annapolis with a mobile tiki bar built on a trailer. He was paid up front before arriving and then simply served people. By not "selling" booze he was skirting the abc's law in Maryland. Not sure how that would fly in Va.

He was gambling his butt

Dispensing alcohol in MD requires a license ( establishment or catering if off premises)

The only way he was legally doing is if for example, a bar hires you to place the Tiki on their property and disperse their alcohol

No other way around it

Plus, anyone serving must be TIPS Certified
