Normally Mike I am in awe of your builds, and your prices - and very envious...this one however, well - a $12K USD truck to start with, if Tithonus then it is in fantastic shape. Then you paint it, add seats, and it goes up by over $25K, albeit shipped....but.... Maybe you should describe all the work in more detail. Just saying' - it will help to justify the price.

I'm impressed with the apparent attention to detail; even if I feel like it is a shame to see an ex-MOD rig not in its original livery.

I understand your point but most of the Tithonus trucks we sell in the US, end up close to or over $ 20.000.

This truck has recieved a full strip down and approx 120 / 150 hrs of labour to put this together.

A large amount of new parts, most of the metal parts blasted and powdercoated, 4500 interior, 2900 custom soft top, 4500 for port delivery in EU, export dox, ocean freight, handling, importation, duties, ISF filing custom brokerage, THC, titling

Best RiverMike

Mike, congrats for having the balls to do something different. Geez, the imagination and options are endless. I'd love one of these in willow with a black cage, surrey top and white wolfs for the summer.

Life's too damn short.

I have documentation that says they only did 1000 trucks in project tithonus. Consider how many met the importation requirements.... I would bet less than 250. I predict the prices will continue to rise and we will see more of them.

Why did only 250 meet import requirements? Did others have a motor other than 2.5NA?

That's just a guess. No not because of different motor, because of year.

True but, not directly from MOD. Withams won't allow the inventory to sit that long. The trucks of that vintage , that make it here, will go through civilian hands.

Nope. If I was buying one, I'd probably bring it over to Canada and park it in a mini storage in Victoria BC or someplace where I could go visit and exercise it regularly.

Can non citizens register a car in Canada? And then bring it over when it gets old enough?
