1988 LHD 5 Door Station Wagon

Just in from Italy a 1988 5 door LHD Station Wagon.
New shocks, springs, steering damper, headliner.
Numbers match, rebuilt 19j engine which pulls very well.
Seats are in very good condition.
Chassis is sold and door bottoms are good.
Legal importation was flagged for "intensive examination" as most Rovers are I guess.
Will be registered in Virginia this week and test driven for a couple of weeks.
Footwells are good.
Around $27,000
PM or email any questions

How does this one compare to the white 110 you have for sale? is the white 110 still for sale? Also when can you get the requisite pictures added for this green one? Thanks

The white one is spoken for.
It is faster than the white one having around 5,000 miles on a rebuilt engine.
It has a recon gearbox with around 500 miles on it.
The seats are more recent.
The sunroof did not leak in the heavy rain last week.
When I have driven it for a couple of weeks I will have a better idea but it seems to drive well.
More pictures will be added in a couple of days.
I see you are in Pakistan are you planning to ship it there ?

No, I would hopefully drive it away. Im stationed in Pakistan and have thousands to choose from there, unfortunately they are all RHD. I would drive it away or tow it to DC. The white 110 was on Craigslist yesterday thats why I was asking about it. I thought it was gone but then the ad popped back up.

More pictures

The wheel rims will be replaced as the Rover originally had non stock wheels and the current rims fitted to avoid problems with Customs.

Thanks for the clarification I wondered why you would want a lhd for Pakistan.

It would be driveable to DC, as I mentioned it will be road tested and probably do a 300 mile round trip to Tech and back.

The white one has been removed.

I have a complete Defender 200tdi engine / gearbox and ancillaries available. It was removed from a Defender as one unit not a collection of odd parts.

To clarify the 200tdi Defender set up is offered as an additional option to the buyer of this car. I should have a couple more due in.

To respond to a few pms. It should be registered and inspected this week.
I will be posting more pictures and road testing shortly.
I did fit a new battery and it starts very easily with minimal smoke.

To answer a few PMs and emails the 200tdi is being prepped for installation with a new Bosch starter, timing belt, water pump, clutch, engine mounts and whatever else is needed.
It will then be road tested by me or my sons.

The core plug in the 19j head seems to have been rectified. The 200tdi install is on hold right now as the current 19j starts easily and pulls very well better than some of the tired 200tdi motors I have seen.
On eBay right now.

Current Virginia state inspection
Was told the gearbox was virtually a new recon unit, from the way it shifts this is probably the case.
Reserve on eBay 25K
The rims are poor will put another set on very shortly
Pulls very strongly up hills

Looks good. But can you do me a favor and get some photos of your truck after you clean the lens on your camera phone with something other than a camel's tongue?

I'm leaning to a green for my respray, I'm collecting images of green 110's.
