1988 Defender 90

1988 Land Rover Defender 90 panel back.

Recently imported from the UK, starts and drives well. Slightly smokey when first starts but clears quickly and runs smoothly

Overall good condition, the chassis is pretty solid (Has had repairs to chassis and bulk head tops in the past) and the engine and box is tight. The bodywork is solid but has some oxidation on the lower panels and door bottoms. Door bottoms will need doing at some point

Interior is sound, I recently replaced the seat bases and the drivers seat back.

Decent truck, Ideally needs some cosmetic bits and bobs and a repaint to make really nice, but mechanically its really sound

$11,999

1988 Land Rover 90

HI,
I have re advertised my 90 on eBay. $12400 or best offer. I had it sold but the buyer seemed to have financing issues.

Here is the link:

here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231616977560?forcerRptr=true&item=231616977560&vie witem=

Recently imported from the UK. VIN: SALLDVAB7EA317665

Supplied with clean VA title and all import documents

Starts and drives well. The (19J) 2.5TD engine is slightly smokey when first starts but clears quickly and runs smoothly. Gearbox is tight, shifts correctly with no crunching.

Overall good condition, the chassis is pretty solid some signs it has had repairs to chassis and bulk head tops in the past. The bodywork is solid but has some oxidation on the lower panels and door bottoms. Door bottoms will need doing at some point as will the foot wells.

Both latch mechanisms has been replaced with new BrtiPart units but the passenger door lock does not work.

Interior is sound, I recently replaced the seat bases and the drivers seat back. Centre jump seat back has a rip across the top. No seats in the rear but is panelled out.

Really decent truck, Ideally needs some cosmetic bits and bobs to make really nice, but mechanically its really sound.

Overall in great usable condition, I have been driving it daily for the last month here and for about 6 months on and off in the UK and have been totally happy with it.

Recent new glow plugs have been fitted and full coolant flush

Note: this is a 28 year old truck in original condition, so down expect an showroom vehicle. There are marks on the paintwork and it could do with some light restoration in the future.

Comes with Clean VA title.

Error. 1980, not 1988. Mods need to change the title as I thought he meant Pedro's truck for a second!

It's not 1980 that's just eBay's "auto-correct" working brilliantly...

Its an 1988, Ebay does not recognize the European VIN numbers, you have to cheat it by entering 1980 in the vehicle description.
