Just serviced this truck, all new oil in gearbox, transfer case, axles, engine, new filters, new steering knuckles, swivels topped up. It drives great.

Overall mileage is only 157000 km, done very little mileage since engine was replaced in 2006/2007

Last chance to own this LHD ex MOD Defender before it goes on EBAY

I know it seems trivial, but would you paint it? I'm so tempted by this truck but my wife would kill me (not to mention the HOA) if I parked a camouflage rover in the driveway. Again, I know that's a lame excuse but its my main hangup with this truck.

Would the engine refurb be an issue with customs? I mean it seems like it is the "original" engine...but these CBP guys are getting pretty nitpicky these days it seems

Fresh paint wouldn't be an issue.

Sorry but we are too busy in the shop to strip and repaint the entire truck right now. If we do it would become an expensive one, we remove all glass, interior, dash, lights etc, refit with new seals, doorpanels, carpet set, headlining kit, refurb dash etc. Might exceed the cost of the Original truck.

If you don't like the camo paint why not buy my very original Stage One Hardtop V8, new parabolic springs, new powdercoated which bumper, wheels, wing top protactors etc. Very good interior, done less than 70.000 miles on the original V8 engine

Pic attached.

Hell yeah, Ben!

And for the guy that wanted it repainted to suit his wife, if you needed to ask that question, this is not the truck for you.

Not sure I understand you correctly, the red / cream STAGE One is a 3.5 V8 gas engine, done very little mileage for year.

I will be listing this truck with more photos later today...

Just went to get it's annual technical inspection and sailed through, it definately drives better than it looks, frame is bone dry with no ROT, just done a 300 miles journey as well, drives spot on ... only $ 9000, on EBAY now with only 5 hrs left..

This will drive anywhere
