1987 Defender 90 Pick Up

Hi everyone. I am selling my Defender 90 Pick Up. Frankly, I haven't really seen these in the US so I am unsure to price it. I am probably low but, my wife wants her out of the driveway. She's really fun to drive, solid all around and I get thumbs up and people asking me about her everywhere I go, literally, everywhere. The truck is really nice too. Ha.

- Solid frame, no rust issues
- Clean interior, just professionally cleaned
- 2.5 gas motor, very peppy
- Shifts easily and smoothly thru all 5 gears
- All terrain tires look great on her, really gives her a unique stance
- Back lift gate works but is missing one support wire

Reach out to me if you're interested. Thanks!

I think your ebay price is a little high for a 2.5 gas RHD p/u.

I could be wrong though.

You should post a price here... As per the rules.

Thanks for the feedback. I am certainly open to offers. $18k is probably still a bit rich but I dont think by much.

I'm getting beat up pretty bad on pricing that I am too high. To that end, $16.9k is the price.

Why not just drive it and enjoy it? You have a great Rover community in Va and some great wheeling as well.

I have a few....looking to lighten the asset load....apparently my wife wanting to have a baby takes priority over having a small fleet of Land Rovers.

Looks like a lot of changes since then.
Some of them good.

Still...

I know the "nesting" instinct of a pregnant wife very well!

Each truck is worth exactly what a person will pay for it.

Folks here have a VERY realistic view on value based on being very educated consumers. That does not men it is overpriced at 18.5k. That means the price in this venue might be a bit high which will cause slow or no sell.

I think at this point, it is overpriced at 18k, maybe 2-3 years ago it would be worth more, someone may be willing to pay that for it, but i would say that person probably wants a 2.5p pickup really badly (i doubt that person exists), or just has never seen another rover/not patient enough. Going off his word, he says the frame is solid, so i bet its worth more than the $10k of the other truck, i just think $18k is pushing it. GLWS

$14.9k for the pickup.

Have an EX MOD LHD 2.5 n/a, solid truck for $14k if there is any interest as well. Just on craigslist at the moment.
