Thumbs up 1987 110, Rebuilt 200tdi, New Ashcroft R380, Upgrades! Needs NOTHING

1987 Land Rover Defender 110, Rebuilt 200tdi, New Ashcroft R380, Upgraded Needs NOTHING.

I purchased this 110 last year and have completely gone through it. Has been on several off road events, not mudded, and is ready for the next. I drive it several times a week, 40 mile round trip up the interstate at 70 MPH and have taken it several hours to events, no problem, 28-30 MPG. Small black puff at start up and clears up very quickly (Thanks to new rings ). I have 2 potential 5 door 110s on the forum that I am interested in . If it works out I will transition to a 5 door, if not I will continue to enjoy it.

Thanks all. Love the truck

No worries. I shift into 5th around 50mph. It's the r380 with higher 5th option. If going 50+ I keep it in 5th. No need to downshift. Only on extreme hills or passing will I come down to 4th. Great combo with the 200 and 1.4.

Not sure rpm but it's not high at all, comfortable.

I was a passenger in this truck a couple of days ago.
Very impressed with the power it had! Ran very smooth.

Good luck with the sale Adam!

Replied to PM's. Yes, located in Fredericksburg VA 22401.

Yes, If you have a 5 door I would consider trades up or down, with cash. Please provide details of the truck with link to pictures. Not looking for "projects".

Probably a good idea to state which side the steering wheel is on.
Could have missed it, but didn't see it stated.

OK, looks like you can just see the side of the steering wheel when the 3rd picture is enlarged showing RHD.
Thanks, James.
Reminds me of asking my wife if she knows where the salad dressing is and she goes to the fridge and pulls it out from right where I was looking!

Very nice 110, Adam has.
Again GLWTS

Thanks Clay. Will have the HD Flanges installed tonight. I'm surprised I listed it but if she moves then I will move on to the next. If not I'm happy as well. Might go hard top with external cage. Who knows

Sorry to see you selling this. Happy to see the exhaust adapter I sold you went to good use tho!

How long did it take to put the series style bulkhead vent rubbers on? People have been posting that you need to keep them shut for months? Lol

Good luck

Pipe worked great. Thx.
I put the seals in before winter. So they were closed for a few months. Used weatherstripping sealant. Took about 2 hours but now nice and tight. Also installed the door top garrison outfitters kit, no window rattle and no more drafts. Both worth doing.
