1986 RHD Defender 110 5 Door Fire Truck

Hi All,

This is a bit different

We bought a 1986 Land Rover Defender 5 Door 110 PTO Powered Firetruck; complete.

This is 100% original with all paperwork and documentation included.

16,500 verified miles
V8 motor
4 speed tranny
1.4 transfer
Complete PTO assy
Complete pumping assy w/hoses

There is no rust anywhere. This is about as close to a "barn find" that I have ever seen. I am not exaggerating to say it is almost perfect.

The truck is currently in the UK and can be shipped over anytime; 4 weeks from order to arrival

The transaction is with my company in Atlanta, not overseas.

The truck will be available for pick up in Atlanta with all customs done and a GA tag, title and BoS provided.

We provide a 180 day warrantee on the drive train. We provide a 30 day warranty on the truck as a whole.

Please contact us for additional information

Additional Pictures Here:

I honestly am not sure how much to ask for this. If it were not a super cool fire truck I would ask about 19.5k.... lets start there

We can also offer this minus the pump, hoses etc.... There is no extra charge for that and we will provide a matched rear door.

Looks like the perfect support vehicle for anyone looking to drive their NAS Defenders without switching to braided stainless steel oil cooler lines!

Sweet truck, I see it has a PTO hole in the frame, is that common in early 90/110's?

That looks more like a trailer harness wiring hole to me.

I feel like I saw this on auction at mod-sales.com. I was thinking to myself that I should buy it, but couldn't since I just bought a Tithonus. Either way, I really am liking this truck! Good luck with the sale.

It certainly is special. I sent it to my gf's uncle (firefighter), but they just bought back their fire department's original fire truck, an Ahrens-Fox, Model P-4...one of only 3 known to still exist.

Ok... Questions to the really smart people out there ...

It has a push button front door and a lift handle rear door. Was that factory for 1986?

It appears to NOT have a 4 speed LT95 gear box. I really can not tell if it is an LT77 or R 380. What should be factory for a 1986?

... The basis of all the questions is suitability for import.

I'm no expert, but I've seen a few pictures of other 110 station wagons with push button fronts and lift rears. I don't know if they came that way or if it was upgraded later.

perhaps front doors were replaced, they are exceptionally clean and do not match the middle doors outer skin/inner door cards.

That's gorgeous, David. I hope the future owner keeps it pure. Pulling for Dave Short.

I believe that push button doors started in 87 or 88. My 86 was upgraded to push buttons but should have came with lift ups

Best I know the doors were swapped quite a while ago. Originally this was lift up handles/roll up windows.

LT85 tranny

Truck is fully documented. We have the V5, MoT and heritage docs. More importantly, the prospective buyer is buying a legally imported truck from my company in Atlanta. The transaction is here not there. We are a bonded importer.
