1986 RHD 110 CSW 5 Door 3.5 V-8

1986 110 3.5 V-8 CSW with a 5 speed. $15.5k OBO
This would be a good starting point for a restoration or an LS swap!

The good:
- Already in the states at my house in TN. Currently registered, just awaiting the state to mail me the title.

- New Raptor Engineering Binnacle (Dash) and surround. Also has the Raptor Engineering Center Console with a brand new Kenwood stereo, CD, AUX, USB inputs. I added the Raptor Engineering dash cover on the passenger side, it really cleans up the dash.
- I just put on brand new wolf wheels.
- Rusty “C” pillars were replaced with YRM replacements, while I was in there I replaced the middle row floor upstands and front of the rear seat boxes and the “C” pillar trim piece.
-New side triangles (below middle doors)
-Passenger side footwell was repaired.
-New Rocksliders.
-Power steering pump and tie rods just replaced.
-I replaced the shoddy hard back front seats with a pair of LR modular seats finished with techno cloth. I have them covered with covers to keep them nice.
-Used Rugged Trail swing away tire mount so not to put weight on the rear door.
-Rear door is in great shape.

The not so good:
· The front passenger door needs a bottom rail put in.
-The middle doors are rusty on the bottom, they will need to be fixed or replaced
· It does have 235K miles, but it doesn't run like it.
· The only thing that it needs that I didn't get to do is that it needs the suspension refreshed as the shock towers are rusty and the coils and shocks could do with being replaced.
· Of course it is going to need to be repainted. I didn't do this for several reasons, first, that allows someone to choose their own color and see exactly how the body is. Second, it shows honestly what condition the body is in.

-The rear seats are not bolted in and the seatbelts are not attached. They are they just not attached.
-The rear crossmember needs to be replaced, not going to sugar coat it. It was patched to pass the MOT, but it needs replacing.

$15.5k I am located in east TN, an hour and 15 minutes east of Knoxville and an hour north of Asheville, NC. This has been my project truck since October of 2014 in the UK and the only reason I am selling it as the job I was going to take in Florida has fell through and I am returning to the UK to my old job. My wife won’t drive it like it needs to be driven and I don’t want to let it sit for a year to a year and a half.

Cheers,
Eric

It was more than the $9,100 that was bid and less than $15,000.

I'm in TN and interested but for much less than your $9100 you were offered on ebay. She's rough and needs lots of TLC, I'd take that 9100 and run. If you don't and for some reason you'll take less, let me know.

Thanks, but no thanks. For less than $9100 it will stay in the garage until I get back. You can't buy one in the UK, ship it back and register it for that. That's not figuring in all the stuff that has been done to it already.

oh totally agree with that...we Landie owners are spoiled in that we usually (emphasis on usually) get the money out of what we put in them (unless you're buying new L322's or RRS that is). So yes, agree that if you are looking to not lose money on it, best to hold on to it for awhile.

Jesus...

Throw a number badge on the back, drop in a V8 with slipped liner imminent, and you could get 40K!. Just kidding...kinda...

This is a fairly decent deal on a truck in this condition. Trucks exactly like this are selling for similar money here in Europe. And it looks like you will move a little on price, if I am reading correctly.

Hopefully somebody brings you some scratch and keeps this one on the road.

I would keep it if I knew how long I am going to be in the UK. I just bought a 91 200TDI Defender 90 to redo for the wife in TN, so I am a little flexible on the price. I just started to redo the 90, I needed something to keep me busy.

You are correct about the prices in Europe, they have went up a good bit( 30 - 40 %) since December.
