1986 LHD Tithonus For Sale SOFT Top with Hard top available.

I am offering my 1986 Tithonus for sale, i have owned this for a year and a 1/2 and since i have two other land rovers it is time to sell this on and work on the others.

It is a clean solid vehicle with good bulkhead and chassis. Exmoor seats are clean and in good condition, with 2 folding bench seats in the rear. The vehicle came with hard top and i have added the soft top and drop down tailgate as i live in florida.

New hood and front panels.
Rebuilt engine installed in 2008.
Newer axels in good condition.
Good tread on tires.

The vehicle is in Jacksonville Florida, after dealing with idiots on Craigslist i have put it up for sale here so as not to have to deal with all the crooks and scams on there site. With the vehicles becoming harder to get hold of this will make a fun vehicle and a good investment.

Asking $20,000

If you need more info or pics let me know.

Who makes the soft top? And are my eyes deceiving me or is there a bump-out above the driver in the canvas? Hard to tell.

It is a military vinyl soft top Called a TUM top it was designed for more radio equipment and has extra panel to support the roof over the cockpit giving more head room. It is a little different but fits the Tithonus cage.

Patience. Thinking you can sell a truck in 8 hours is just not reasonable. It's a great Tith at a killer price. Settle down and give it some time man.

Here are some pics of the underside.

Everything is solid probably could do with some more paint, newer rear axle

FYI TUM isn't the type of top, it's they type of truck.
TUM means truck utility medium =110
TUL means truck utility light=90.
I BELIEVE what you said about the additional radio equipment to be spot on. I have been trying to figure it out for a while as I have seen these tips for sale in the UK.

Thankyou for your input it is a little different, you get more headroom in the front, the rear attaches to the Tithonus from in the same way.

Would you take a pic or two of the inside of the top in the cab. It is for a Wolf or a Tithonus truck for sure. I just haven't been able to figure out what variant yet.

For what it's worth, Exmoor makes the same mil-spec PVC top without the extra "head room".

Good luck with your sale.

I can get New Tithonus soft tops, with or without windows in a variety of colours.Price is approximately GB£450/$675 plus shipping (which is the expensive bit). If there are enough of you guys out there then we can put an order together and stick them into a container which i have going into PA in a few months time ? Just a thought .

The top is in good condition, but it is good to know that you can get new tops and the price if someone who buys it would want to change it.

Thank you for your input
