Imported this month. Picked it from the port of Baltimore last Friday. All original import documents in hand. Will convey with a Virginia title so buyer won't have deal with first registration. Truck is conniston green all over. 2.5 petrol, lt77. Good 7.50 x16 all season radials.
Roll up window, lift up handle doors. Right hand drive. Five door configuration. Rear door has wiper/wash and defrost. The bulkhead needs footwell repair @ the usual spot but there is no gaping hole. The front door bottoms are relatively good. The two second row doors need the lower channel repair, seats are vinyl. I have driven the truck the sum total of a half mile (low fuel light is lit so didn't push my luck) so driving impressions are that its starts immediately, ran strong and shifted smoothly and quietly. Only got up to 3rd gear through.
I used low range to pull it onto and off of the trailer and it shifted fine, difflock was easy to engage. Odometer shows 80k. I have a sheaf of paperwork sent over with the truck in the way of records that I need to go through.
The truck was sent to me as a test case by a new UK dealer who is scouring Europe for trucks to send to the US. This is basically a consignment scenario and I am waiting for him to tell me what he has to have for the truck.
If you are looking for a running driving restoration project that would easily convert to 200tdi in a weekend this is it.
please email me @ firstname.lastname@example.org
if interested. The UK registration number is tastefully etched into every piece of glass on the truck as a theft preventative.
Price is $14.5. He had planned to list it on ebay and I convinced him to let me offer it here for less.
