1985 LHD Stratos Blue 110 SW with A/C

Truck spent its life in Spain and is rust free-no scale anywhere. It has been repainted @ some point to a relatively high standard due to sun fading. The truck is a county and has nice black carpet through out. The exhaust is new. All 4 springs are new. The shocks are all new. The BFG tires have 85-90% tread.
The seats are all in good to excellent condition with the exception of the right front corner on the rear seat-see corner split in photo's. Doors are the roll up window type and all door cards are present and in good condition. I walked around the truck looking for imperfections and I found three dings in the paint work. Each the size of a penny or smaller. The truck is in excellent condition for its age. The a/c works but to be honest I haven't tried it. The engine is a carbed V8. This truck was imported last week and has all applicable paperwork to register it in any state. Sorry for the blackberry photo's. It was about to rain when I took these last Wed. The truck is available for viewing and test driving in Concord,Virginia. I believe the first person to come look it over will buy it-its really in that great a condition. Virginia residents will need to pay sales tax. Priced @ $19,000

Nice Plug. Julian you going to chime in too? We all know Doug brings in nice trucks and is not too greedy.

Thanks Todd. This truck doesn't belong to me. It belongs to Alan Langridge in Burgundy France and he set the price. He has quite a bit more into this truck than the typical Uk import. Trucks from Southern France, Italy, and Spain tend to bring considerably more in Europe than the English trucks due to the fact that they don't decay, and the cheaper road tax's on older trucks for European's.
The difference is self evident when you look @ the truck. I have three Uk 110's @ the farm to compare it to.

Doug:

is this the same truck now listed on eBay below?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...E:B:SS:US:1123

Odd thing is the listing states it's still overseas, but I thought you brought it over already? Also, is this listing via Frank @ Mini Obsession/Riverhouse?

Nice looking truck but it seems odd that they already have a clear PA title with it still in Europe. Is that possible?

Not the same truck. The one I had now lives in Alexandria,Va.
That truck surprised me. It had an aux/long range fuel tank. I filled it up @ the farm and it took 25.5 gallons. I drove it home to Annapolis and then over to Alexandria to make the exchange (310 miles) and the gauge was only down to half. Since I had been playing with the bottom of the gauge since it came off the ship and adding fuel from jerry cans I knew the gauge to be relatively accurate.

I did realize after I looked at the pics on a PC (vs. my iPhone) that they weren't the same...but man the specs were similar!

On a side note - who bought the 110 in Alexandria? Someone from the list?

To be precise, his Dad bought it- with some prodding from Spen. I got a message from Spen that he wants one for himself now. Pending sale of his IIa ex-mod 109 at some future date.
