1985 defender

right hand drive 4 cyl gas, lt77. its all here and complete. runs great and drove great until the bearings went on the front driver side. it of corse is rusty. hard top no windows. has those crazy simex jungle style tires on it 235/85/16 all four in near new shape. this is being sold as is so you will need to bring a trailer. it will drive but i don't recommend driving it farther than the drive way. it has a clear texas title with current tags. so that right there is a plus for those wanting to us it to build that special Grey market defender. the price is 5500$ pretty firm on that. you wont find a running one with clear title cheaper. come and get it. sorry for the pics they show it with the top off but it is on now and has all three door. roll up fronts and one piece rear.

the frame needs a rear cross member and some patches on the outriggers. bulkhead is not pretty. i'm not going to bullshit you it is rusty. i was going to replace the frame and firewall but i have too many rover in the works right now and would not be able to get to this one for a year or two. so i'm just going to pass it on. i am asking what i paid. it runs real well and surprisingly did 70 on the freeways be for the axle crapped itself. pm me with your email and ill send you some pics of the frame.

not the same thing, the defender 90 was a newer vehicle, the '90' was its its first incarnation

------ Follow up post added November 27th, 2011 07:28 PM ------

IF its a 1985 then its a '90'
