1985 Defender 110 200 Tdi - $25k

Solid left hand drive 110 with strong running 200 Tdi motor for extra torque and power.

Very solid frame with no rust. Same with cross member and outriggers. Bulkhead pillars have been repaired but done so properly. Foot wells are both rock solid as are the door bottoms. New wheels and tires. Motor starts immediately on the first turn and idles perfectly. Truck accelerates and shifts nicely, no sounds or anything amiss. Shifting it very, very smooth thru all 5 gears. Glass is solid and clean as is the entire interior. Seating is original but clean. No tears or rips. Headliner is tight as well. Fresh paint. Not perfect but sharp looking. Truck has a Salisbury rear end and head duty axles.

Let me know what questions you have. $25k here.

On eBay for a bit more and auto trader soon. I can take more pics if anyone is interested. This truck is geared a bit lower so it would be a great around town, camping or off road truck.

Any questions just let me know. Thanks!

Just curious how much impact that re-gearing has had on your highway driving? I know it depends on the gear size and ask because when I did my four door jeep in the past the fuel economy at the higher speeds took the biggest hit. Great looking truck btw!

Not sure on the MPG. You can definitely keep up with traffic without issue but you are not going to be cruising in the left lane at 80 mph. It's a clean, nice truck with a solid running motor though.

How is that fan set up working out? Have you tested on any long stretches with healthy inclines and under full load yet? IMO this falls into the same friendly warning category as oil cooler lines in the NAS trucks. Noobs should be advised of the risk associated with heat and these engines.

Motor runs great. No overheating issues to speak of while driving around town, idling for 20 minutes or highway driving.

My 110 200tdi with a 1.2 tcase and 235/85 tires would get 30mpg easy on the highway. If I drove with a light foot 32mpg.

Now with the larger tires and lift 26mog highway
