1985 D-90 for sale

200tdi / LT77 RHD In Atlanta area. Asking price $12,500.
The odometer shows 31,825 miles and is accurate to the best of my knowledge. The truck starts quickly and runs smoothly with no smoke.
I purchased the truck in late 2010 with the intent of making it my daily driver after I went through it. I began inspecting/replacing those items that I knew needed it or thought might because of age. Being a bit OC and enjoying the work I kept adding to the list of things as I went along. For instance, when I replaced the shocks, I also removed the spring components then sand blasted, POR 15 treated and painted them. Given that I work two jobs, it has taken a bit longer than I anticipated and everything I intended to do has not been completed.
The second fuel tank from a U.S. truck and other items, like two Warn winches, four spare wheels, and other parts will go with the truck.
I'll be happy to provide more photos if needed or answer questions.

The following is a partial list of items replaced or added:
New OME shocks
New brake master cylinder, all four calipers and rotors
Rebuilt turbo (cast iron portion ceramic coated)\
New Allard full width intercooler
New radiator
New Spal electric fan
New air cleaner and all hosed between it and turbo
New 110 amp. alternator
New timing belt and water pump
New power steering gearbox (not rebuilt)
Instumentation - boost gauge, pyrometer, tach, second fuel gauge, oil pressure

Pl;ease confirm that is a Defender 200 and not a Disco- looks to be Defender. Or shoot a pic on the right side showing the turbo and down pipe.
I may be interested, but am traveling all next week- will shoot you a PM.
Thanks

Yes, it's a Defender 90. There are a number of other things that I didn't list. There's a locking cubby in it now. The stock sun visors were replaced with aircraft type translucent ones. The extreme jack is mounted inside and visible in one of the photos. The rock sliders were on it when I bought it. There are one inch wheel extenders on it. I replaced the seats with ones that had a head rest. I still have the ones without that will go with it to whoever buys it.

Nice.

I like the visor idea. Did you pick those up from Sporty's? And was there anything special about how you went about installing them?

Hey Brad-

I really appreciate your time and conversations, but I'm out.

I think if you do the few small things we talked about you would have no problem getting significantly more out of this 90!

Best of luck,
Mike

is the truck still for sale? I live in Rome (not far). I would love a defender. My price ceiling is $10,000. Not trying to steal it but that is all I have to spend. Please let me know Thanks. Also if it is still for sale do you have anymore pics?
