i put the NAS rear step on it. it was a total basket case when i bought it, so i cut and welded a lot of new metal. and than coated it with POR-15 and bed liner.

The drivers window is now moving up and down nicely. Replaced the window regulator and runner. Also got the spare rim back with a nice new fresh tire. Will post some pictures later.

Also for those of you, in case you hadn't seen it, I put it up on fleebay.

The action will end tomorrow morning so there still is time.

I had gotten some questions regarding the rear door. It is steel plate with a pattern, see photos.

The 90 sold this morning for a good and reasonable price. It will be hard to see her go. Looks like she will be headed down south as well.

The ebay seller fell through, I think it was a scam as they guy wanted me to cut a check to the shipping company while he reimbursed me via paypal. He claimed he was a oceanographer out of Huntsville Alabama. It was just weird and he didn't make the deposit deadline once I said I was not paying for the shipping. I'm reaching out to ebay to get the auction refunded.

At the same time, a local guy from Harrisburg reached out to me. He came with his family and looked at the car last night. A really nice guy and will be a great addition to the d-90 community. He will be picking up the car on Friday and get to drive her home.

It will be kinda sad to see her go but something tells me I will get another one sooner or later

The 0 feedback should raise a flag.

Did you report it to Ebay?

Glad to see it sold.

It certainly raised flags. That was the first one, second one was not immediately contacting me after the auction followed by the weird email. And yes I reported him to eBay but I doubt it would bring much. Curious how many folks fall for scams like this.

For the record Adrian never sold me a crap truck. I was just busting him chops. I was very happy with the truck when i bought it from him.

Adrian,
Where did you end up getting the truck? I thought I heard PA from Dylan? If so it made a full round trip. I was always curious on the history and when it came over to the US.

Yeah- he got the truck in PA, I cant remember the exact town right now though. Between Adrian and Dylan they put a lot of sweat equity into it, hope you enjoy your new Rover! Congrats

-Thanks for the kind words Steve. Stephan, flew into Pittsburgh, PA and drove it home via Interstate 90 PA into NY >87>route 7> into VT 7 >route 9> route 202>interstate 91>89 then back roads home.

https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&s...d=0CMIBEPwSMAs

it took me 14 hours when all was said and done, no issuses at all. I then cleaned the hell out of it, did a new interior, changed all the fluids, sorted few electrical problems and enjoyed it for a few months until realizing it was just to small for a 3 person family and 2 80 lb dogs. I never wheeled it, only used it for weekend drives through the mtns and trips to the store, then Dylan bought it and trailered it home. You know the rest of the history fromt here

I forgot to add that it was the owner in Pittsburgh, PA who imported the 90, he has quite a few rovers, 110's and 90's.
