1984 Defender 110

We have owned the Defender for the last 2 years and have enjoyed driving it around as an everyday family vehicle. We have completely rebuilt the front end with new swivel balls, seals and brakes. The front and rear pinion seals have been replaced along with the shocks and rear brakes.

The Defender is painted with the Woodcote green and white roof. It is a RIGHT HANDED DRIVE and can seat up to nine (9). When we were rebuilding the Defender we made some accommodations to fit our family's life style. We replaced the Defender interior seat with 2001 Discovery II leather interior seats for comfort and safety for the middle passengers. We also replaced the 4 stroke diesel for a 1994 Range Rover 4.2 liter fuel injected motor. There were other accommodations that were made to make the vehicle run and drive smooth. We are asking $38,500 or OBO

nice truck. are those defender seats or RR seats? Nice job integrating the center console. Can you post more interior photos?

Maybe the best interior on an 84 I've ever seen under 50k. Very nice job!

The seats are out of a Discovery II and we put them for safety for our three kids. This is my first time on the forum and I am having a problem with attaching photos to this reply.

Thanks

Smooth roof, rear windows, doors, dash. That's a lot of work.

I do not have the defender on another forum for $36,500. This is the only forum that I have put the selling price in the description. Otherwise I have responded to other emails when asking what the price is of the defender. Their may be another Defender out their for $36,500.

Thanks
Allen

Are you not durrwood?

And either you or another family member listed it on expedition portal for 36,500.

They suggested you list it here.

Same first name even... I would post the same price on both forums though.

Nice truck, and cool work on the disco seats/console.

After looking up the expo forum (did not have access to the email address for the expo web site last night) I noticed that I did make a post for $36,500, this may have been an accident by me when posting the reply. My wife and I would like to sell the defender for $38,500. Sorry for all the confusion.

Why is it such a challenge for so many to properly list a vehicle for sale on this forum? I mean take some high resolution photos of the door sills, don't use the term "rust free" anywhere in the description, tell me the mileage without some footnote about 1997 odometers and realize that I have the same username and password to all the other d90 related forums. Just shoot me straight for once.
