1984 110 5-door, LHD, V8 $ 10,000

Before I import this, lets see if there is interest in this car.

This listing is for a very original Land Rover 110 V8. One owner from new (anyway, 'one' before I bought it, three months ago).

The good:
- Hardly to no dents in the body
- Not everything original but very nice interior
- newer Tdi front seats
- tropical roof (!) like the old series
- passed recently Dutch safety inspection (ok, doesn't mean anything here, just to show everything is working)
- matching numbers
- door frames, some are ok, some need attention, for sure easy repair. I have seen better, I have seen worse.

the bad :
- Needs new rear cross member somewhere in the not-so-far future
- Knock in the engine, not sure what, sounds like connecting rod bearing. beside that, engine is running nice.
- needs welding on frame at front bumper
- small spot under RH window (LH good)
- foot wells need attention, not completely shot though.

My "bad" list might not be complete but these are the major items. IF you fix this you have a nice, daily runner.

Car is in The Netherlands and I am not planning to ship this soon; too many waiting before I do this one.

Maybe somebody wants to do the import and registration themselves and this way can have a cheap, nice original 5 door LHD 110 WITH WORK.

PRice does not include transport and import here in US. Does include delivery to port of Amsterdam and include all the correct export documents including Dutch title.
Alloys are included in the price but for import I can put some steel wheels on it.

It seems tropical roof was an option on early 110 on some markets.

Very nice.

May be knock in engine is just wrong timing ignition set up ;-)

This tropical roof was dealer installed when new. Client liked the one he had on his 109 before.

I wish the knock was just timing, for sure it is more serious.

A 109 roof will not fit a 110, due to the different shape of the windshield. However, as seen in the pics, the sun sheet could be fitted to an early 110 roof.

As an aside, the external ribs on the roof of my 83 110 are stamped 109. I suspect that in the construction of my 110's roof they were using up old stock.

yep-I've seen that on several.

FWIW you can't deal with a more stand up seller than Johan. This is a hobby for him not a business.
He does it because he loves the trucks and likes meeting the people that gravitate to them.

I might have interest in this if you haven't already sold it. The knock doesn't bother me as I'm planning a LS/6L80/Atlas II swap. But, a straight chassis/body, and legally imported does.

Plus, I'm originally from MI, so I can probably figure out some way to get back there and see it once it gets stateside.

Yes the sun sheet will fit no problem. You will have to poke about 150 holes in your roof but it will work. The entire coach roof from a 109, no, that won't work but the sun sheet yes.
