1983 RHD 110 for SALE

I hate to do it but the wife says it has to go.

1983 Landrover 110 with Camper top.
4cyc RHD
ODO says 65,000 I bet its turned once at least.
Imported 2 years ago, clean title.
It is currently tagged and titled in Fort Mill, SC.

I have put new valves and gaskets in the engine and cleaned the dirt and rust.
Some rust still exists. Would be fine for the next 5 years would need a bulkhead sooner or later.

I would "Like" to get $10,000 but I will entertain reasonable offers.

Here are the PICs

Very cool camper 110

Did You by any chance buy this from Old English Cars last year?....what happened......rovers have a habit of needing time and funds to get sorted, but after that their lifespans are limitless.......other cars just end up in the scrapper....my 2 cents........show the wife a book that outlines the history of these vehicles..my wife stopped asking me when I was going to sell the Range rover Classics, one is a project and the other is drivable but will take time and funds to get sorted.....but it is an Eastnor Green Rover....very cool in my opinion...I may buy a series at one point.......why not....it is a great hobby....and they have character.......

If the odometer has turned once then it would have covered 1,065,114 miles.

Yes this is the rig form Old English. I have put a lot of time and elbow greece in. The biggest reason for the sale is I have gone back to school and thus cut my income to a poor student. So the sale of the Landrover will almost pay tuition.

I do not have the back seat frames but I do have the cushions and they are included, although they were not part of the original purchase. In fact I have a few of the old parts left that I would include.

The odometer may really be 1,065,114 considering the age of the truck. To be completely honest. As I have gone through it I can tell there has been a lot of work done to the truck over the years.

I will say that she is in sound shape and would have no problem driving it anywhere.

which is extremely doubtfull. A replacement gauge far more likely. Pulling old MOT history online based on the vin should confirm

Even 65K original for an '83 isn't unrealistic. My '85 110 had 49xxx original miles when I purchased it in 2010(backed up by MoTs).

So are there any interested buyers out there? We can talk price, pick-up, delivery,or more pics?

Or just odometer specialist?

I think we can agree, and most of the guys on this forum know that a 40 year-old odometer might not be the best gauge to measure the life or potential of a Landrover.

I am just trying to make an honest sale.

Honest opinion on condition of body. A pillar bottom, floors, bulkhead, bpillar, seat box corners.
Is the body straight
I don't care about doors, motor or anything mechanical. Just body condition. Has it ever been painted or body filler. Thanks. Mark

110 Body

Thanks for asking.

The body is in mostly good condition. Looks like the wings have take some abuse over the years. So, I took them down to metal and filled the dents as I primed and painted.

The bulk head: there is some rust damage in the bulk head. I have ground out all the rust and treated it with rust preventative and then filled the holes. There is one on each side. I think it would last another 5 to 10 years with this repair. However it will need a bulk head sometime.

Body seems straight the tires are not wearing funny.

The A and B pillars seem fine to me.

There is also some rust out in the left side floor. I repaired it with Al flashing.
