1983 Land Rover 110 Soft Top on TONS!

So this year hasn't been the kindest to myself, my wallet, or my 110 so its time to move some toys and this is one of them. It has an insane amount of money and work put into her but unfortunately I blew the engine The price is for the truck as is minus the winch, if buyer wants the motor work done I can have it all done at the buyers cost. Below is the specs.

-83 110 ST currently with a blown 300tdi matched to an lt77 and 1.2 tcase allowing road speeds of 60ish.
-Axles are Eaton Rear with cro mo's and a detroit locker and front is a dana 60 with detroit locker and
manual hubs
-Suspension is all rovertym links and springs, completely bolt on, with rancho shocks. Could use better
shocks but truck sits very low considering modifications and flexes very well.
-Tires are absolutely brand new interco trxus 37/12.50/17's mounted on Hummer h2 wheels.
-Interior has corbeau low back bucket seats that are almost new and aftermarket steering wheel.
-Custom sliders, rovertym front bumper built for husky winch (winch available separately) and rear rocker
guards.
-Softtop is one year old and aside from a little staining is still like new.
-Brand new Radiator and intercooler installed with very few miles on them.
-Rebuilt driveshaft with 1310 u joints in the rear.

This truck has a straight body with good paint with the exception of the left fender which needs a new skin as it met a rock and the rock won. Top and front of fender are good, just the outer skin needs to be replaced. Doors are solid with no rust issues as is the frame which is solid. The interior and exterior of this truck is very solid and clean and is an engine away from being ready to go. No cage currently installed as it was up next before engine go boom. Prior to the engine mishap, this truck would easily run down the highway with amazing power and drove very tight. Offroad this truck was unreal, its low center of gravity, 5.13 gears, tdi torque, and unbreakable drivetrain made it unstoppable. It is currently sitting at rover automotive so I don't have any pics currently but will try to get by there soon to take some. Until then I have one pic attached and a couple videos for your viewing pleasure.

Sorry to hear about the engine, OK so the block is toast. Do you know the cause of the failure?

Since I have a spare 300tdi engine, I'm more than a little interested. Did you get any more photos?

I'm Traveling for the remainder of the week so no pics till this weekend. As for the engine failure, I have no idea what happened. It was coasting down a hill at around 50 off throttle when it happened.

------ Follow up post added November 16th, 2011 11:03 AM ------

So quick update. Just phoned a friend who is going to try and get some pics of the truck in the next day or so.

More pics below. The truck seems to be missing a temp gauge now but I will find out the story on that.

OK I will bite, $8,000.00 cash picked up this week. However, You may get more bang for your buck if you started to part it out. At least that way you should get closer to what you want. I know a lot of money went into the axles.

This is the deal of the decade here. For 3K you can have this thing is up and running again on a bulletproof setup, ready to run trails at moab or anywhere.

There is more than $8k in fitting these axles!
