1983 Defender 110 LS 5 door auto trans 330hp!!!

1983 LS GM Gen IV powered 5 door wagon. 330hp with a 6 speed automatic transmission.

Got the bug to build a 130 so reluctantly the 110 must find a new home. Don't ask me why the wife thinks we don't need 3 defenders!

This was built with Nicks famed adapter and conversion parts. Only 3200 miles on the conversion. This truck is truly the best of both words. Classic first year defender styling, exposed galvanized capping with split doors and the reliability and power of the LS drive train. Just drove it 200 miles today averaging 80 mph with barely a foot on the pedal burning just about half a tank of gas. This truck is quiet and subdued around town with loads of power on tap.

Engine is a an all aluminum LH6 out of a 2008 Silverado with 95,000 miles

Transmission is a 6l80e speed auto out of a 2008 Cadillac escalade with 52,000 miles.

The truck is cosmetically rough but mechanically sound. Front seats are ratty and should be recovered same with the headliner. Frame and firewall are solid but the rear crossmember has been patched and should be replaced at some point. Had planned to do a complete cosmetic restoration but the exposed galvy and patina paint grew on me so i left it alone. I love that this truck is a sleeper. Brand new Rubicons will be left in your dust wondering what the hell is in that old rover!

Front doors are solid. Middle door bottoms will need attention. Have a set of full roll up doors if interested along with newer sliding rear windows.

$37,500 as it sits right now with ARB front bumper nearly new 285/75/16 tires and NAS rims or $35,000 with stock bumper, stock steel wheels and 235s. Truck is currently located in Northeast Florida. Whaler is not included! Original split doors make it an excellent candidate for a soft top "beach runner" conversion.

Happy to share more pics or info to serious parties just send me a PM with your email.

After you buy it. Great truck. 110/130 need the LS motor.

Dude you're giving that thing away. Bump for the easiest rebuild project out there. This won't last long.

Thanks Mack. I appreciate that. I think i priced it fairly considering it needs work but also hoping it doesn't go to a flipper thats going to slap paint and new seats on it and put it on eBay for $60k.

With defenders there's always a chance it will end up getting flipped for more. Looks like a solid truck at a fair price. Good luck.

110 ls

Being that it has an LS transplant, would it then be registerable in Cali without having to go through the GnK routine?

Good question.. not as is... I had a custom exhaust and y pipe made without catalytic converters.. Nick (maker of the adapter) would be the one to ask about what smog equipment needs to be installed in order to pass smog and he offers a Y pipe with Cats.
