1983 110 station wagon

Selling my 83 110 wagon, This was a project i was planning on building but have decided to build a series 109 instead. The truck runs and drives great. Has terrafirma hd suspension less than a year old,35/12.50/15 generals on black steels. I took the top off last year, built a quick roll cage for it and its been that way ever since, I will remove the cage for any buyer. The rear seats have been removed to allow a car seat to be mounted securely to the cage. I have everything to return to stock. the frame has some light surface rust but no holes, the bulk head and footwells have some rust also. The engine is the original 3.5l with original carb set up.
The following are included in the sale :
new galvanized chassis, has v8 mounts
new td5 bulk head lhd
the original hard top
disco front axle and steering box for lhd swap
I have 2 engines the buyer can choose from, a rebuilt 0 miles 4.2l long block, will include serp belt setup and p/s pump
or 300tdi running engine, can start on the ground for buyer, includes timing belt kit not yet installed, don't know the mileage on it but was bought from a forum member. this engine includes an r380 disco trans.

the price is $25k firm, I do not want to sell any pieces seperatley at this time, I can also deliver for free if your with in 100 miles of 19348

You should remove the cage and return vehicle to original condition.
That will improve its chances.
Right now it looks like a 4dr Tomb raider or Laura Croft's mummy mobile.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

You're offering a lot of stuff, but it's hard to verify that the value is all there. The extra engines could be in any condition, and there are a lot of other variables, so it's not easy to figure out if the price makes sense.

And since you inquired as to why there's been no interest, your mods are actually devaluing the truck. I've not looked, but I bet your cage has already been posted on some other fora and it's aesthetic and qualitative merits are being... debated.

Return the truck to stock and it will be a much easier sell.

Thanks for the advice guys, I knew when making the cage it would appeal to a small audience, So I will be taking out the cage next week and installing the top back on, will post more pics when its together, mostly of the interior and doors, As i said the 4.2 engine was rebuilt by me, polished crank, all bearings and rings were replaced. heads redone etc....the diesel i bought like most members on here, saw a video of it running, and it runs on the ground here. Hopefully in stock condition it will sell, if not ill just go back to my original plan and restore then sell.

Love the color and old school County stripes. (But I'm a little biased I suppose)
