Did you mess with the turbo sizing at all? It would/will go a LOT better with a smaller housing.

Also where it's warmer down there you may want to swap out the tranny fluid from the 5w30 synthetic that GM specs to a good quality syn. 15w/40 like Amsoil Truck/Diesel oil. You could probably even go a little heavier. The NV's were known from brand new to be a little gear clatter prone behind anything except a nice smooth V8 gasser. The TDI makes it that much more noticeable. Just a heads up.

Just some stuff i thought of recently and am not 100% sure I mentioned? ---->

The oil in the engine is Amsoil 5w30 Series 3000 Diesel oil - again, for warmer weather a 15w40 would be better.

I'm sure you noticed the stuff in the back compartments like the bottle of coolant? The coolant is a "G5" spec - do NOT mix anything else in there!

As for the tires - do you know anyone around there that wants them? Cheap?

I am not really sure I need them now but would love a little $$ for them. I thought if someone around there wanted them it would save you the hassle of shipping them, me the costs of shipping and maybe they could give you a cold 6 pack for your troubles? heh heh.

Doug.

I was trying for $300 - but really anything reasonable is fine. I'd just like to see them used. The RRC I am looking at here by me has new tires on it..... and my current Audi Allroad daily driver would look pretty silly with them.

Its actually just a simple balance - if most of what you contribute is related to making an offer on a truck, then you'll be seen as a used-dealer cruising for deals. Heck Tim, post some pix of that adventure race you're talking about, we'd all love to hear about it!

The Perkins 88" pictured here is a sick beauty and had me reaching for my wallet....way too late of course, and wishing there were more porn Rovers like this one....wondering how this puppy performs on and off road with that Perkins...??

Sorry to bump a really old thread - but what ever happened to this little series truck? She is so pretty, I hope she is still being loved and cared for by a happy owner?
