The old threads have been deleted. Take it easy on the guy. He is new and is trying to figure out the right way to do things. You guys are not exactly very inviting.

Thanks Red 90.

But I am amazed how some members treat other members of the source. I havent experienced this kind of juvenile behavior since high school. Grow up ....or go get your pacifier.

I am new to post and own several land rovers and am selling one. If you guys just want to be dicks, maybe defender source should consider removing you from the site.

Peter nice to see you here. Hope we see you at our next local NYC meet-up with one of your several land rovers. You are a valued and highly respected member here, and your additions to this community have been nothing short of spectacular. You have clearly done your research and know exactly what this vehicle is worth. Again, welcome!

What is so rare about this model, if you don't mind me asking?

Come on guys. The bottom line is that regardless of what you think of the price or anything else, it's a for sale thread and you are crapping on it. So cut it out. The market will decide if his pricing is wrong.

Go easy on the new guys. You really do come across as assholes when you rib on someone who is new and doesn't know you. You immediately put people on the defensive when you do this. I'd encourage you to try be more friendly and constructive when trying to get them to post pictures and prices etc. Not everyone is tech savvy or familiar with forums.

Josh, how about you make a for sale posting how to for newbies and we'll make it a sticky somewhere. Then we can politely point people to it if it looks like they haven't done their homework.

Is the only way to contribute to this community is through attending a boost circle jerk? Cut this guy some slack and maybe he'll drive the happy thing to the next one.

McQueen, best of luck with the sale. There are not many straight exmod IIa's out there, but please post more pictures of the frame, bulkhead and an under the hood shot. Is it 12 or 24v? and how old are the bar grips on there?

Best of luck with the sale!

-Rob

Good lord. I've deleted most of this. This is the "For Sale" section. Please keep the discussion focused on the item that is for sale.
